Very Nice
Mountain Hardware is an excellent brand of outdoor clothing. I bought two sizes to make sure of the fit. This shirt fits well and is comfortable but it is fleece-type material; my husband was looking for more of a knit fabric. We returned it.

Not what they used to be.
After 7 months of intermittent use (maybe wore it 20 times or so, washed maybe 5 to 8 times?) the tiny zipper has partially shredded near the opening, making it very difficult to close the neck. Why build something with crappy zippers/hardware with a supposed "rugged" reputation? These are not the most expensive, nor the cheapest fleece tops out there, but this company used to have a reputation for rugged gear. Why default to a tiny, cheap zipper, that shortens the useful life of the product? Additionally, I'm slim, 6'4" with a lean build, and these are a bit tight at the recommended size (large.)The North Face equivalent runs a bit short in length, but have a more reasonable cut that makes them easier to live in and put on. In contrast, North Face zippers rarely fail, but their fabric is cheaper. Could someone build a quality fleece product with good hardware and sturdy fabric? Apparently, neither of these two industry leaders.

Great 1/4 zip, caution on sizing
I love this pull over, have several. My only issue is the inconsistency in sizes. I wear an XL, I have ordered multiple 1/4 zips through the years, NONE of them have ever been the smae fit, NONE of them. They are made to fit your form well, but a few have been more like larges. My suggestion is to order a size larger than normal or expect something that is on the smaller size of your size ordered.

What is the meaning of 2.0 ?
I assumed 2.0 ment, 200 weight fleece. I guess I'm wrong.its lighter,,. Large fit me good,I wanted a tighter fit, so I'm happy. I'm 5"8" and 165 lbs. Quality is good. got it to go over a long sleeve base layer.

Snug
I love these from MH, but they seem to run snug the last couple of years. If you are a thin guy, may do well by you. But 511/225. It is snug. Should have ordered a xxl.

Fits Smaller and Thicker Weight Than Microchill Ultra-Lite
This fits much smaller around the waist than the other Microchill Lites that I have. It’s also bulkier, not such a bad thing but I prefer the ultra-lightweight polar fleece to wear in my house or when it’s only slightly cool outdoors.Great products, and fast shipping tho!Thank you Amazon!

You get what you pay for
I never did find what I wanted in an inexpensive fleece 1/4 zip pullover. This pullover is expensive, costing almost four times what a cheapo $15 fleece pullover would cost, but it is vastly superior in fit, material, and workmanship; and I expect it will last - I still use a decades old Mountain Hardwear softshell hoody that is my go-to outdoor layer, so I finally gave up on bargains and bought this pullover. You get what you pay for.I only wanted a simple, nice looking pullover to wear over a tee shirt as a stand alone in cool weather or a layer under a warm jacket. I do not need kangaroo pockets, multi-colors, breast pockets, or other gimmicks, but it seems each manufacturer I looked at includes unnecessary "features" to try to sell more product. And the cheapo pullovers have fleece material inferior to what it used to be (I am still using a fleece I bought 37 years ago. It has not pilled or lost its fit, but it is showing its age, so I went looking for a new pullover). So this pullover is perfect for me. It looks nice (elegantly simple), is extremely soft, soft enough to wear next to my skin as a base layer, and over a tee shirt fits me just right. It is lightweight so I do not have to strip it off indoors because it's too warm. I like it that the material doesn't look nubby or porous, but has a suede or velvety texture without being heavy. As for size, I am 5'8", 155 lbs. I bought a Medium. It is a good, but slim fit. If I wanted to wear this as a sweater over, say, a flannel shirt, I would size up. But I will never use it that way. I would rather use this as an under layer or a stand alone cool weather pullover over a tee.

Four Season Utility and Style
Provides excellent warmth in a very lightweight format. Stylish enough to be worn all day as a casual shirt in the colder seasons, but functional enough to make a serious mid layer for my cold weather outings. I also like to carry mine in my pack to throw on for quick barrier against the chill on cool summer mornings/evenings in the mountains. There's so little weight penalty I can take it everywhere without a thought. A great piece for adding insulation year round.
