Check your backing plates
So far product works well. Only complaint is that the 2.5 backing plate I received doesn't connect to the machine as the metal bit sticking out is too thin. The smaller one fits perfectly.

The Attachments need some attention
First I'd like to say that Maxshine is my polisher of choice, but the mini polisher attachments and wrenches could use some attention.1) The mini sponge pads deteriorate quickly. I don't think that this can be corrected based on the fact that the pad is so small and the machine is so powerful (keeping in mind that the machine has to be powerful to create enough friction to polish a painted/or non painted surface).Possible adjustments: Increase the amount of finishing pads given in the kit/kits.2) The wrench they give for not just the mini polisher, but for all 3 of the Maxshine polishers I have are cheap metal and junk. They mouth of the wrench bends and the mouth of the wrench on the inside walls get deformed because the metal is so thin and soft. Because the pads wear so quickly and realistically speaking, in a real world use, and as bad as the cheap wrench is, this product isn't worth the money. And this isn't based on comparison of similar products on the market. I could though, for example: I have an SPTA rotary polisher that came with multiple arbor sizes (3,5,6,7), doubles of all the pads for those arbors, spare brushes, 2 different handles and the wrench they gave isn't cheap. The tools are much harder metal and the polisher works perfectly and only cost $86 and all my polishing machines were purchased within weeks of each other. And you may not believe it, but SPTA has a pretty comparable warranty to other brand name polishers on the market. Now I'm not promoting SPTA products or any products for that matter. But SPTA reviews weren't bad when I purchased my SPTA polisher, so we'll see how long the product lasts.
