It’s slick.
It’s slick, so you can’t set it to the highest angle. The ridges do help. Had to put weights underneath. My dog is 60lbs, so just under the recommended weight limit. Took a few tries but he uses it.

There were random staples sticking out
It is great I just expected better quality for the price. It’s a bit sloppy. There are random staples sticking out in the top that I had to remove.

Very slippery
Overall the ramp looks nice, but it was difficult for my dog to walk to the top of the ramp. So, I had to attach a non-slip material to the ramp. Now it doesn't look nice, but it was the way I found to make my purchase worthwhile.

Just what I wanted!
This is very well built, very good price at under $100, and nice looking (real wood!) but still light weight enough and very easy to collapse so that it folds up to slide under the couch for instance. My dog is 16 years old weighs, under 15 pounds and this couch is his favorite spot in the world. He is not good on his feet anymore so couldn't deal with stairs which is also why we blocked off access to to the rest of the couch. It was just what we wanted. Make sure there is not hair/fur on the pads of feet which could make it slippery I imagine.
