I've got a glow stick 80s party to go to in 1 hour and im snaping the sticks to make my design. I break a couple to make a bracelet ( blue ) looks wow, nice and bright. I work on a few other bracelets to put on later , then 15 mins later i look at my original bracelet and its dimmed. What?So i tossed it under my desk where its darker and it does look brighter. So i snapped a couple more and tossed then under my desk with the older ones. The brightness was stellar with the new ones, and dimmed with the older ones. I come back 15 mins later and they are all 50% dimmer.Bottom line, the brightness last 10 mins then dims 50% over the next 15-20 mins.Im stunned that it got so many high ratings.Edit: 1 hour in and the Orange, blue and pink have lost 75% of their original glow. The Greens and yellows about 50%. So i will make my necklases and bracelets from those 2 colors and just keep replacing them every 30 mins. What pos these are. "Glows for hours" yeah 100% for 5 mins and only 25% less than an hour in. Junk.

Read a decent amount of the 1 star reviews before purchasing. I knew part of the 40 pieces were connectors. What I didn't realize until I received it was that there is no way you can make all they show with the 16 glow sticks they give you. You cannot make a ball, flower, glasses, bracelets. You have to choose which combination you want because you do not have enough glow sticks for all of them. I just assumed it had enough because it advertised it. I guess they expect you to zoom in and squint at the screen to count how many connector holes there are vs sticks.

The package says 40 piece pack. I counted 16 glow sticks plus 2 small ones that can be used as earrings that would be 18. Comes with the attachments to make 2 pairs of glasses if I count every individual piece it’s still only 28 pieces. I’m not sure where they 40 comes from. I was under the impression it contained 40 glow sticks.

I guess for the price, I can’t complain…. But for “glow” sticks, they sucked. When you first crack them, they glow so well. But after about 20-30 minutes, the glow was so dull, they were almost pointless.. I don’t even know how they managed to make such dull glowing glow sticks, but they did it! Lol
