Delicious
If you haven’t had yuzu kosho before, do yourself a favor and try these. Bottles are small but a little goes a long way. Makes absolutely delicious and easy meats if you slap some of this on just before cooking it and goes on pretty much everything well.

Love them both!
Surprisingly different both of these Yuzu pastes are amazingly full of flavor and so easy to add in everything from ramen to stir-fry to fish to just about anything you want a touch of salty citrusy umai goodness! I've even used them in ceviche and creamy pasta dishes, it was beautiful with the Latin and Italin flavors... i really think you could work these pastes into many beautiful dishes

Super Fire !
I love the taste of the yuzu kosho paste. Its the best for Asian dishes I put this on my fish, chicken, rice. Plus, u can steam vegetables or stir fry some vegetables. It depends on what u like. I like the green yuzu kosho more than red one. I'm mostly a pollo-pescatarian.

Hard to get, but worth it.
I came upon a recipe using Yuzu Kosho and tried to buy it locally, including going to Asian grocery stores. No luck. I bought this to try, and got both the red and green pastes. I have not yet used the green, but have used the red twice and we really like it. A bit pricy, and the jars are small, but you only use a bit of it at once.Cannot compare to other brands, because I never used it before, but I am satisfied. My recipe is to use minced shallots, minced garlic and ginger, a Tbsp of the paste and some olive oil to make a kind of pesto. After it sits a bit, it mellows out and goes well with shrimp, pork or chicken. Has a decent amount of heat to it.

A tremendously versatile seasoning and condiment. Goes a long way. Adds a delightful and unique salty citrus quality to foods. Absolutely wonderful.

Even you live near a good Japanese store this product might be cost effective
These are fascinating and unique condiments, quite unlike anything found in an average US grocery store. They are curiously delicious and have a direct effect on the salivary glands, similar to umeboshi (another very unique Japanese food item). There is no substitute for their flavors, which is why they are so intriguing; they invite exploration and experimentation, and they afford the opportunity to achieve true Japanese flavors at home.Warning: This product is in very small jars. The boxes the small jars come in boxes have "80g" printed on them. Assuming that means 80 gm of product, and further assuming that yuzu kosho has a density similar to water, that means each little jar contains between 3 and 4 tablespoons of product. That's not much, but on the other hand they are very concentrated. Small amounts have big effects. If you live near a good Japanese store this product might not be cost effective. (Note: I now know otherwise - see below.) If you live out in the tules this represents a fantastic opportunity to get an amazing product that is otherwise unobtainable.Followup comments - I have since made it to a real city with real Japanese food stores. Having now tried a variety of versions of yuzu kosho I believe the flavors of these are excellent in comparison with some others. The balances of yuzu, spicy pepper and salt in both the green and the red seem quite perfect, and blend well with other flavors. And the Amazon price is quite a good deal in comparison!

Great taste, nice and spicy
I've gone through about a dozen of these Yuzu Kosho jars. Love the lemony heat it adds to just about anything I eat.
