Women's Jessie Sandal

I researched a long time to find a stylish, comfortable shoe to wear to an outdoor stadium concert. I knew we'd be walking a long way, and standing for hours. These shoes were pricier than I usually buy, but they got amazing reviews from women in professions who are on their feet constantly. I got a size smaller as other reviewers suggested. I'm a textbook 9, so I got the 39. I tested these shoes on a couple of occasions standing for a few hours, and they felt great! I felt like I was walking on marshmallows, and I loved being able to adjust the buckles, as my right foot tends to swell after standing for long periods. I had no problems and was excited for the concert. What an epic mistake! It was rainy and humid causing the shoes to rub at the big toes and top of my feet to the point that the skin literally rubbed off. See the two attached pictures. You may be able to see the blister bubble on my pinky toe. The pads of my feet felt like ground beef. I could barely made it through the concert without bawling, and my husband had to hire a rickshaw to get us to the our car. So, beware. The shoes are great in dry conditions but horrible in wet conditions.

I heard a lot of good things about Danskos so I broke down and bought my first pair of expensive sandals. Being European sized I was leery about the fit. A coworker wears the same size shoe as I do, a 8.5M (so she says) and her toes were HANGING ACROSS THE EDGE! So, I checked Amazon fit and it suggested an 8.5 as well so I ordered a size 39.... ugh.CON: I should have taken a picture, because for me they are a tad smaller than I like to wear my sandals. My heels were right at the back edge and my toes were just behind the front end when standing with my full weight on the shoe. I prefer a little extra length so it doesn’t loook like I’m “trying to wear someone else’s shoe”. I’m not too convinced the next size up (40) which is “9.5-10” would work either according to my American shoe-size brain, so I returned them. But I was determined to figure this thing out and saw a foot chart that also included the foot length as well to see how it compares with the European chart for better accuracy. My foot is 9.75” in length (heel to longest toe) and an online chart said I wear an 39, but it also said that was equivalent to a size 7 in US shoe...smh. No help there either...sounds like trial and error is my best bet if I like the shoe that much.PRO: They are pretty just like the picture and would look really nice with jeans or capris or a skirt. They have that “cushy feel” about them if you like that feel in a shoe. I think the plastic sole accounts for that (the part that looks like it’s made of wood).

Just the sandals I was looking for to use on an upcoming 8-day trip to Germany & Amsterdam. I love the white/tan color scheme, and the adjustable straps mean I can make the sandals fit my feet more securely, as I should have gotten a half-size smaller but could not find them anywhere. This brand (Dankso) and sandal style are both great for comfortable long-term wear. The only reason I docked a star is that the sandal puffs out air with every step; I wouldn't say they are 'squeaky', but almost sound like they are farting as I walk LOL! Other than the noise (which I am hoping goes away with extended wear), I am very excited to wear these super-cute, comfortable and stylish shoes. I also love that they can be worn casual or formal, and go great with dresses, skirts and jeans.

This was my first pair of Danskos and I really loved them at first. Super comfy, super cute. After the first few times wearing them, they stretched out so much more that any other leather shoes I've had. Thank God for the adjustable buckles, amiright? That was fine for roughly 2 more wears and now if I want to wear them, they have to be on the last notch, which looks ridiculous. Another surprise (not the good kind) is that they are fraying around every edge that is, well...an edge. So yeah, I'm bummed.Luckily I got them on sale last winter at almost half of what they are now. Still not worth it for only getting half of a season's wear out of them. Bye Dansko...That's all.

You can wear these all day long and after 10 hours your feet feel just as good as the first time you put them on that morning. This is a Dansko trademark fit. I'm a heavy gal, and these make my feet feel like brand new. All of Dansko shoes are superb and would recommend them to everyone heavier as well as optimum weight individuals.

These shoes are great! I have mid-foot arthritis and plantar fascitis. With the non-flexible foot bed and firm arch support, I am able to wear them comfortably. The mid-food strap AND the toe strap are adjustable so I can customize the fit on each foot. This was fantastic for me!!

This shoe gets 5 stars for being even more beautiful than pictured. However, it is difficult to walk in because it has a smooth leather lining, little or no padding under it, and the toes have nothing to grip so they slide when you walk. I have several pair of the Sophie shoe, and because of the suede lining and perfect padding underneath, they feel a world better than the Jessie. I might have to send these back, which is too bad since they are so pretty.

I love my Dansko's !! As a nurse, I've worn them for work for over 20 years. But when I found out there my made sandals, I was in heaven ! They wear as comfortably as my work clogs and hold up great !I wore my last pair nearly every day for a year and a half and they still are just as comfortable. Only the foot bed fabric has worn but the soles are in excellent shape.I love the and k ow you will too !!!

Love these sandals. I have the clogs for winter and thought I'd give these a go. They are SO comfortable, highly recommend
