Q: I ordered a different set and they looked like they were curved on the back, not flat, looked pretty cheap, are these curve on the back side?

Back is almost flat, They do not look cheap. These are on of our most successful button sets.

Q: Are they too shiny to be taken serious? Do they look like almost fake?

Hi, I actually used them for a Beauty and the Beast Beast costume and they looked fabulous. I would certainly use them on a regular sports or suit jacket if needed. They are a perfect button and I loved the color. These buttons would be great in any capacity.

Q: What is the width (diameter) of the large buttons? The small? Need for a boy's blazer and question if these are too big (currently 3/4" diameter).

The large buttons are about 7/8 inch diameter
