Excellent coir as a germination medium or as a soil amendment
I use this coir both as a germination medium and as a soil amendment. After a piece of this dried coir has been soaked and expanded in hot water, you can place the coir into plug trays to germinate your seeds because it's a perfect medium for bottom watering and it really helps promote root growth if you let the coir dry out a little before water the seedlings. As a soil amendment, you can use this coir as a substitute for peat moss or as a compliment to it. Peat moss tends to harbor and attract fungus gnats, but if you use this coir as a mulch on top gnats tend to stay away.

Very Nice Product. Best I’ve come across.
This product is everything it said it would be. I’ve been gardening for several years and have used several seed starting mediums. This is hands down the best I’ve come across. The first thing that came to mind once it had expanded and I was running my fingers through it was “Man this feels really expensive”. Its so fine and fluffy and light. Smells very natural and clean if that makes sense. I’m buying more today and well tell all my garden homies to try it as well. The quality absolutely exceeded my expectations.

Excellent
Very light weight bricks. I didn't know how much I should really expect so I got two but when hydrated it makes A LOT. I used about 5 quarts of warm water for one brick and used it in 3 pots that were 1-2 pints (combined with a bark and stone succulent mix) and still have enough for some larger plants that I wanted to repot. So basically, this is perfect if you using for smaller to medium pots or creating your own mix. It takes up minimal space for storage and it's not going to be heavy to ship. THAT SAID DO NOT HAVE SHIPPED WITH NON DIRT RELATED ITEMS. THEY WILL GET DIRTY.

Essential Component for Succulent Medium
Initial mass is small, easy to ship and store. It breaks up easily and quickly expands to full volume. After it is dry you can mix in pumice, perlite, and/or vermiculite to suit the ideal medium for your habitat and subjects. Coir is the component that absorbs and retains moisture until next watering. It does not clog or clot to rot roots. Superior darinage.

Best Coir
This coir is about four times the cost of the cheapest ten pound brick. Well worth the money. The convenience of a 1.5 lb brick, 1 ga. of hot tap water in a bucket drop it in, thats it I tested some run off, the ph was near 7 ppm around 150 NO RINSING I would spend several hours cleaning the salt out of the cheap stuff So if time is worth money to you and you want the best buy this!

Good quality but little pricey.
When mixed with proper ratio with other growing amendments are a must for any good growing mix.

The BEST Coco Coir for composting toilets!
Everyone seems to use coco coir for adding to their plant soil, but I use it for our composting toilet! I had been using the BIG bricks of coco coir, but found them SO difficult to break up. I LOVE this size and it is PERFECT for our composting toilet in our travel trailer! No more giant, rock hard, impossible to break up coco coir! This is my go-to brand from now on! One brick, when softened and broken up by the addition of water is the perfect amount for changing out and cleaning the toilet. I can now travel with a supply of bricks and easily and quickly have just the right amount that I need. I LOVE this product! If you have a composting toilet, THIS IS THE COCO COIR you must try!

Hit with HUGE customs fees!
Haven’t even opened it yet, but sadly disappointed by the customs fees that cost more than the product!!! … will not be buying again.

It doesn't get any better then this!
Wow! This stuff really is the best! The quality is simply amazing and a pleasure to work with. I had ordered another brand at the same time and the difference is miles apart! The other stuff had large bits of fiber and coconut shell visible, while this stuff was more like fine coffee grounds. It just looks like gorgeous rich soil. Of course it's all about the moisture retention, and the fineness of this product allows it to stay moist longer. It really expands beautifully and 10 bricks was over kill for my needs. You could probably do a whole garden with that much when mixing with soil and other substrates.
