Immediate effects, and a bonus: no more elevator-peeing!
My 12-year-old cat recently started sitting down slowly and gingerly, which tipped me off as her starting to experience joint pain (or at least stiffness). I know glucosamine is the first line of defense so I did some quick research and settled on this product, as it's easy to add to her wet food in the morning and the ingredients were all clearly listed. No clue what it tastes like, but my cat doesn't mind it mixed into her food! She's also not a picky eater, so YMMV.Glucosamine generally has an immediate to quick effect on animals experiencing joint stiffness and pain, so I wasn't surprised when she started moving much more naturally that same day. What DID surprise me? Well, some context: A while ago, my cat started standing up from a squat while peeing. It's meant I need sky-high litter boxes, but that is an easy enough sacrifice and since she started doing it at a relatively younger age, I assumed she was doing it for behavioral or simply habitual reasons. Upon starting this supplement, though, she's back to normal urination. I realized that one of the other causes for the elevator butt behavior that experts mention is joint pain; cats who can't balance while squatting or experience pain while doing so will slowly ease up into standing while urinating. She's COMPLETELY stopped this behavior, overnight, which tells me it's likely been joint related all along. I feel so bad for not trying this sooner! If you have a cat with this behavior, I highly encourage you to add a glucosamine supplement to their diet to see if it's actually about their mobility. I didn't suspect it earlier, but cats can be considered 'senior' as young as seven years old, and they age quite subtly. Aside from her joint mobility, my cat acts the same way she did when she was two years old. I'm so glad she's got her full range of motion back; I've got some joint issues of my own and as a bonus, this change in behavior means I get to do a whole lot less scrubbing when I clean her litter box each month!

Change doesn't happen overnight
I bought this because I notice my 10 year old pitbull having a tough time going up the stairs and sitting down. Like most I thought this would start working immediately but it took about 2 weeks to see the change and I'm glad I stuck with it. It was like a complete 180. He started playing with the puppy more, going up the stairs quicker, and even walking down the hill in my backyard to potty. Trying the chews next time.

Formula changed
I’ve been giving this to my cat for over a year now and it’s been great for him. He has arthritis in his hips which is a common concern for his large breed. I looked all over for something I could give him by mouth every day as he shares food bowls with my other cat so adding to food isn’t an option. Anyway, I bought this bottle here on Amazon because Chewy was sold out for a bit. Unfortunately the bottle I received from Amazon had a completely different liquid inside the bottle than usual. Per the product photos it is supposed to be a clear amber liquid and instead the new formula is thick like a gravy and it smells awful. Thankfully they gave me a refund for it. Then chewy got it back in stock and I ordered it there to see if maybe this one was a fluke. That bottle arrived with the same liquid issue and chewy immediately replaced the bottle. Well the third bottle also came this way. I contacted the Huggibles company to ask about this formula issue and they refused to tell me whether they’d changed anything or not. So, I’m not trying anything from them again. Also none of the bottles came sealed as they usually do. There’s something not right about this product now and the shady response from the manufacturer is very concerning to me. Thankfully chewy helped me to find an alternative product for my cat and so far it’s working well. I’m just so disappointed that this brand is no longer putting out the quality I’ve come to expect.

My dog likes the flavor
My dog is 10-year-old Terrier. He has a torn CCl from running. I was told surgery could help it but that has a six-week downtime. My guy he would not be a good candidate for that. Always on the go and jumps up and down almost like a cat. I have him on meloxicam and this and he seems to be back to normal. When I take him off the meloxicam I will know if this works for sure.

Change in formula
I've had a lot of success with this for a few years, but as someone else noted, the formula has changed. It looks like orange juice and smells weird. If they've changed the formula I wish I they'd reassure they're customers that it's still a safe product. At it is, I'm afraid to use this new stuff and will have to make due with other brands.

Using as preventative for my older dog
I bought these because my older dog started to show some signs of hip problems (struggling to jump on the couch, shakey legs while squatting) so I bought some these hip and joint treats to help! Easy for me because my dog thinks they are a treat and eats it quickly, they seem to be helping her joints, so she can stay nice and spry!

My baby can jump again!!!
The media could not be loaded. (Patella luxation) Be patient at first I didn't see any changes my dog was still limping, but more than half way trough the bottle I started to see that my dog was limping less. By the end of the bottle my dog was running and jumping like before. I've never been so happy to see my dog jump to the bed or couch. Oh, and no. No vet that I went to see regarding my dog's patella luxation recomended supplements.

My cats drink this from the bottle!
I have always had problems with my cats eating anything with any type of oil on it! This specific oil has been a miracle worker. They love it so much and they eat all their food with no complaints. I have a Scottish fold who I just feel so bad for, but now he seems to be moving around and running much more after 2 weeks of use. I really recommend this.
