Lifting grips, lifting straps and power hooks are designed to make your workout safer and more comfortable, but most products just complicate your workouts. Many just aren't thick enough to function well as a grip pad, leaving you with chaffing despite having used protection. Plus, having to carry grips, straps and hooks in your gym bag is a hassle you just don't need. Fortunately, there is a way to get the protection you need without compromising your performance of over stuffing your gym bag. Cobra Grips are the solution! Cobra Grips are unlike any other gym gloves alternative on the market today and are so advanced that we're patenting their exclusive technology. strongly recommend
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this product. Before I tried regular lifting straps - and it was ok, but while using heavy weight - my wrists would just fail while my back muscles are still not done. With these Cobra Grips I can pull heavy weights as many times as i need to feel my back working till the end. These grips are soft but tight on the wrist and are not cutting in the skin. I am able to do drop sets with these pads, until my back muscles or forearms fail but wrists don't even feel it. I strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to do those important last reps. You will definitely be able to do extra reps with these grips. Also, it helps me to do not think of the pain in the wrist while doing my set, but fully concentrate on the working muscle. There two ways of wrapping the grips around the bar. I tried to show them in the video (sorry for the quality, it won't focus well sometimes, but I think that point is delivered anyway). The first shown method is the most useful to me cause it really eliminates pulling force from the fingers and this helps me a lot to do heavy weights. Again, i really recommend to give it a try to those who wants to be able to pull more and better.

Good quality, but I can't use it. One size does not fit all!
A while ago I bought my wife a cobra grip for her. She loves the product and it is a good product for her. I ordered one for me and the wrist wrap plus the pad is the same size as hers. she is 5'2". I am 6'3". How they expect this same size to fit this range of size and gender I don't know, but this one does not fit me. I put it on my wrist, and the "cobra" pad is still about an inch short to cover the palm of my hand. I can't really use it with a bar because I can't rest the bar in the palms of my hands if the pads are on the bar (it then defeats the purpose of having these). If your concern is quality, then there is no concern. This one has good quality, but it's not usable if you have big hands.

So far, I like these, but only 1 workout in.
I bought the smaller size, and am glad I did, although I think they should do away with the sexist terminology by claiming these are for ladies. Granted, I'm not a big guy at 5' 5" tall and 142 lbs, but these are plenty big for most men. So far, while only 1 workout in, I like these far better than the straps you have to roll around the bar. I have to get used to maneuvering my gear with these on, but when in use, I really felt locked into the bar. For the fist time in a while, I was able to concentrate on dealifts without wondering if my grip was going to fail.

Best grips/straps out there
The media could not be loaded. +++ Great support on the wrist - helped me with a SL injury+++ Be confident in doing compound moves without involving the wrist (Bench/Military/Deadlift/Row)+++ Got to work up to not needing them, now use them for heavy lifts only--- The dye washes out easily so be careful when you clean them (don't just submerge in water and let sit)As for leather vs rubber, the performance does not change at all. This is merely a personal preference. I liked both the leather and the rubber, but neither slipped or had any problems.

A very good product... my husband really liked it!
I apologize I didn't focus on the product in my last review, it was just an issue with the delivery, nothing related to my satisfaction with the product These gloves are well made, durable (a very good material) and my husband really liked them a lot. I'm sure he will be ordering more in a future. I recommend this product and the seller.

Helps relieve my elbow pain
I have been using lifting straps and decided to try the Cobra Grips Pro. I have been experiencing elbow pain the past few weeks (golfers elbow). After the first workout with the Cobra Grips, I could tell the pain was less severe. While I bought them for heavy lifts, i.e deadlifts, I decided to try them on lighter dumbbell lifts also. I found I could lift the weight I had been lifting before my pain began with a lot less discomfort. They seem to be very well made, the leather is good quality and the stitching is doubled in most places. The wrist padding is very good too. So far, I highly recommend them.

Chalk this up under "something I didn't know I needed".
I had been using straps for years. I joined a FB workout group and SEVERAL of our exercises for back/traps contain a HIGH number of reps. Several people suggested these, yet I had never used them in the past so I decided to give it a shot. WELL... going forward I will always use these instead of straps. It's much quicker to get them in place for your set as opposed to having to wrap the straps around and it took so much of the weight off of my grip. I was then able to focus on the muscle i was actually working.I will be back to update this pertaining to the products durability/longevity since I've only used them twice. But so far I am loving this product.

Great product
I've been using these for a while now and think they are very good. I tend to use these with all my exercises, so as soon as I get in the gym they're on and don't come off until I leave. Really help with pull ups and dead-lifts. Which is what I guess they are designed for. I find they are also good with the lateral pull down (100KG), and I can also do hammer curls with them (30KG). Plus the weights feel safe and secure in your hand. I find that the wrist support is very good when I use when using the decline bench press (125KG), the only issue I have here is that I don't feel 100% safe using the cobra strap, so I just let it flap when pressing, this is also the same for the overhead press (70KG) just doesn't feel safe and sometimes digs into my palms. Since using these I have not picked up any wrist injuries, they have been great. Would be a five star but for not feeling safe with the straps on certain exercises, but don't let this stop you. Just let the cobra strap flap away and continue knowing you have great wrist support for all your exercises. I put some of the weight sizes down so you can get an idea of how good these are. I also uses these with a cheap under-glove to stop any calluses of the hand, and the cobras fit over fine without any issues.

Excellent grips for heavy lifting
I bought this to take some pressure off my elbow ( golfers elbow caused by over-enthusiastic chin-ups ) and it is excellent. It is amazing how something so simple can actually grip the bar so effectively. An added bonus of these grips is that you don't end up with nasty callouses caused by lifting heavy weights with rough knurling. The quality of the leather feels excellent and the stitching is solid and I don't anticipate it giving up anytime soon. I have borrowed some other grips from a different manufacturer and they simply didn't come close to these in terms of feel, strength and critically confidence.ps I have very skinny wrists but I am still able to wrap these snuggly around my wrists to support my grip with no problems.

Bought these 3 months ago and boy they still look like new. Cobra logo faded a bit but they're ...
I got tired of buying gloves every couple of months. Regardless of how much I spent on gloves, they all tear eventually. If it's not the leather on the palm side, it's all the fabric around it, stitching etc. I never owned grips so I thought i'd give it a try. Bought these 3 months ago and boy they still look like new. Cobra logo faded a bit but they're indestructible. I train 6 times a week with heavy weights and there's no sign of wear and tear on them. The rubber is perfect for both snatching and pushing. I'm really happy with them. Hands don't sweat as much, there's no smell to consider also after training. I highly recommend them! I'm not buying gloves any time soon. There is a downside however. They're not as "soft" as gloves so your palms will get a bit rough if you care about that. Seller was quick to dispatch and deliver.

Look no further and don't be put off by the price!! This lifting gear is worth every penny!! My recommendation - BUY!!
These are probably the only lifting glove/straps/pads you'll ever need!! I've spent quite a lot of money on lots of lifting straps, hooks, grip pads, gloves and wrist wraps well in excess of £200 including brand such as Harbinger, Rogue, Bad Boy, RDX, Grip Power Pads, Adidas, etc). I wish I had seen the Cobra Grips earlier; I would have saved a lot of money. This product is simply excellent!! It is made of high-quality materials and very comfortable. Some of the highlights include:1) The wrist support is one of the best I've used. It keeps your wrist very stable during any lift without having to tighten the strap; but still allows for good wrist flexion. The wrist strap is also very comfortable.2) Leather is glossy and feels very comfortable on the palms.3) The pads snug the bar and do not slide allowing you to focus your lift and mind/muscle connection.4) On "Pull" days your back muscles will scream well before your grip gives up on you;5) Surprise surprise, it is also perfect for "push" days. When pressing it allows you to grip the bar tight, thereby activating more muscle fibers. My only disappointment is that I discovered the product is sold in the US for $24.95 meaning it could have been cheaper in the UK. But then again when you factor in postage, import duty, and seller's margin; it comes close to the same price.Recommendation - BUY!!
