purchased AX1600 to connect the EV charger on the garage wall, it managed this with super ease and gives improved WiFi coverage across the full house and garden area ! This unit smashes it out the park …Highly recommended!

Pain in the backside trying to set up with the Nighthawk app. Could not get it to work with the app. Went back to basics, Plugged the extender in near the router wated a few minutes for everything to light up on the extender. Pressed the WPS button on the extender then on the router, waited till the WPS LED on the extender showed it was connected. Unplugged the extender went up 3 floors to where i needed the extender plugged it in connected my laptop. An Bobs your uncle, worked like a dream. Did not even have to re enter my password. My internet speed seems to have at least doubled. Very happy you can stick your app though just complicated a simple set up.

The product itself is working and help a little to improve the internet speed. May be our dead corner of the house only pick up weak signal from the router in sitting room.The set up is the no good part. As instructed, after installed their "nighthawk" app, actually it should call "nightmare". The app just can not find the extender with different position and attempts. Finally connected with the use of the WPS buttons on both side. So, what's the use of the app? Seems the manufacturer not care even there are lots of complaints about the apps problems in different discussion groups. So overall the product can be use but will not buy this brand next time, or forever.

Set up a little tricky but otherwise boosts signal as described. Those with larger houses or say gamers requiring higher bandwidth/speed may well need something different.

Recommended by my BroadBand engineer, it enables me to work from the conservatory. Easy to install

Fantastic product. Set up in a jiffy. Press the WPS button on the back of your router and hold until the router flashes colour, then press the WPS button on the device and you're good to go. It's important to ensure on first setup, you do the WPS connection next to your router - give it a few minutes and once its connected (you'll see lights which weren't there before light up) unplug your range extender and then take it to where you need it, turn it on and give it a few minutes and you're good to go!

Despite having a Netgear Orbi 960 series router and two satellites serving our home, our garden room at the end of our garden still has a bit of a weak WiFi signal... so I thought I'd try this [EAX12] as a cheaper alternative to buying another satellite. It does work... but it's 75% down on speed and it drops connection frequently. I tried a number of changes to the router and various settings... but it was just too unreliable a connection to hook anything critical to it, such as a security camera or even an IoT switch. I also tried the larger, more expensive but similarly performing EAX20 but that was also quite very unreliable. All of them were returned. A shame... as I imagine these work well in some smaller properties or homes with paper thin walls... but not mine. It's looking like I'll eventually have to fork out for an additional RBSE960 after all...
