Non tanto nell'estetica, quanto al tatto la differenza con il prodotto originale è tangibile, a partire dal rivestimento superficiale: in queste SoloWIT la plastica è plastica, punto. Comoda e morbida, ma pur sempre tale.Nei cuscinetti Bose invece, la plastica è talmente ben realizzata da replicare perfettamente la sensazione della morbissima vera pelle che ho provato nelle Bang & Olufsen H4: solo la maggiore sudorazione che causerà vi ricorderà che si tratta di plastica e non di una più traspirante superficie naturale.A seguire, parliamo del “ripieno”: SoloWIT propone una comune schiuma, mentre l'imbottitura delle Bose QC 35 II sono in vero memory foam, elastica e dalla consistenza “pastosa”: facendo un paragone, la netta differenza che c'è tra una spugna da bagno da 1 euro e la soffice mollica di un panino al latte appena sfornato.Questi di SoloWIT, sia come imbottitura sia come rivestimento, sono molto simili se non identici a quelli delle Sony WH-1000XM4/M5 e delle Sennheiser Momentum 4, a dimostrazione che nonostante una sensazione di “inferiore”, la qualità comunque non manca - piuttosto sicuramente manca in quei prodotti, che di “top di gamma” evidentemente non hanno poi così tanto a parte il prezzo, ma questo è un altro discorso.Il contatto su guance e tempie è comodo: non affondano in una morbida carezza come prima, ma il comfort resta pur sempre - lo ripeto - da top di gamma Sony/Sennheiser.Considero un difetto anche il foro interno della ciambella meno ampio. Parliamo di un millimetro o giù di lì (si vede chiaramente a occhio, senza mettere mano a nastri da sarto), ma essendo proprio l'ampiezza di quel diametro interno uno dei più importanti fattori che rende le QC35 II le più comode sul mercato, ogni millimetro di spessore in più favorisce il contatto del cuscinetto con le orecchie, cosa che vorremmo evitare di come la peste.La maggiore rigidità della schiuma comporta due svantaggi: oltre ad una sofficità inferiore - che comporta anche una pressione più concentrata, essendo distribuita su meno superficie - se provate a muovere le orecchie (basta alzare più volte le sopracciglia) mentre indossate le cuffie in assenza di audio sentirete il tipico “scratch scratch” delle spugne da bagno sintetiche quando le stringente e rilasciate. In presenza di suono è inudibile ovviamente, ma aumenta l'effetto “cineseria”.Tali svantaggi però vengono controbilanciati da due logici vantaggi:il primo è che il suono sembra trattenuto meglio col risultato che appare più corposo e potente, il secondo è che si percepisce una sudorazione minore grazie all'appoggio meno avvolgente dei padiglioni.Segnalo in positivo l'ottimo tessuto con le lettere L-R, che riproduce fedelmente l'originale al punto dal non distinguerlo da quest'ultimo.Resta ora da vedere come reggono al tempo, alle 1-2 ore al giorno di utilizzo assiduo a cui le sottoporrò. Dal canto loro le originali hanno ceduto dopo 2 anni, sfaldandosi al punto da mostrare tutta la schiuma interna.In quel caso però parliamo di un prodotto il cui ricambio costa, comprensivo di spedizione, ben 41,90 euro anziché i 19 di questi SoloWIT, quindi oltre il doppio, il che non è giustificato.In sostanza: come rapporto qualità-prezzo direi che siamo a 4,5 stelle (non 5 a causa dell'effetto sonoro “spugna da bagno”, davvero “cheap”), mentre come comodità e qualità direi 4. Ma 4 molto solide ricordando, ancora una volta, che abbiamo preso a 19 euro i cuscinetti delle Sony/Sennheiser top di gamma. ;)E in ogni caso, non darei un voto maggiore ai cuscinetti originali: in quel caso sempre 4 stelle, invertendo però i voti ossia 4 stelle (se non 3) al rapporto qualità-prezzo e 4,5 stelle a comodità e qualità (non 5 per la sudorazione che causano).

Sie sind weich, bequem und passen perfekt auf die Ohrmuscheln meines QC35.Seitdem ich diese Kopfhörerpolster benutze, ist der Tragekomfort meiner Kopfhörer deutlich gestiegen. Sie sitzen bequemer auf meinen Ohren, und der Klang wurde ebenfalls verbessert. I was sad when my cushions on Bose QC II headphones started coming apart at the seams. I saw the reviews of these replacements and decided to give it a tryIt was super easy to remove the old cushions. Getting the new ones on took a minute. There are 8 tabs that cushion has to be secured under (1 at either end, and 4 on each side). Took me a minute to find them as everything is black and I ended up needing my phone's flashlight to find them. It got a bit easier with the light and knowing where they are. Ive included a pic of what the tab looks like when it's secured the cushion.They said you can use your fingers to secure them but I didn't find that to work to well. You have to move the cushion out of the way to see the tab and using my hands felt like I was gonna tear them. The little tool was much easier to use and made the switch go faster. Make sure you see how the tool needs to be positioned to make sure you push the cushion under the tabs.Over all, they feel a bit smaller than the original cushions; it could be that my older one stretched out with use so we'll see how these hold up and adjust over time.Listening is exactly the same. Maybe even a bit better noise cancellation.The price of the replacements was a no brainier and I'm impressed by the quality. Will probably purchase these again if needed.

The replacement pads look the same to the original ones. They do fit a little bigger than the headset rim but once all the plastic is pushed in and the click noise heard, they all fit very snuggedly. The headset now looks brand new. Worth the money to replace the pads than to buy another one!
