My turtle is around 4 inches and it looks easy to climb on and off the platform. The sucking is good and is attached strongly to the tank. Good product overall

I'm actually using this as a makeshift platform for my nano reef tank to create the illusion of a floating reef. So far it's been perfect for what I needed. Very sturdy and good weight capacity. I also added a clear acrylic display riser underneath for added support just in case.

Overall it is a well designed product as it takes much less space in the tank and gives my turtles more swimming space. However, there are two issues. First, the suction cups lose their stickiness over time (found a solution though, which is to keep the platform in place all the time and avoid loosening it. You can use paper towel to wipe it clean while keeping it in place instead of taking it down and washing it). Another issue is that the surface temperature of the plastic platform can't reach the desired degrees (should be above 90 degrees) for turtles -- platforms made of other materials would easily reach a higher surface temperature. Hope a new design would address these two issues somehow.

My snapping turtle loves it! I entice her to climb on it by putting a mountain of freeze dried shrimp on the little food tray. I’ll catch her up there from time to time but as soon as we make eye contact she dives back in the water. lol. Very shy, but she prefers it to the giant dark we got at Petco.

My RES absolutely loves it. It's strong enough to hold her which I was skeptical about, but so far so good. She took to it right away, knew how to climb up. Now she just spends most of her time on it sunbathing.

The suction did not work at all, other reviewers say to not use the cups but it didnt work either unfortunately
