Best bang for the buck
These are great board bags and the nose and tail pad foam protection is a nice plus. I've purchased many board bags through the years and these are excellent.

Fits and Protects
I bought this 9'2" surf bag for a new custom made board that I was bringing back to Hawaii from California. Since this was not made for air travel, I was a bit concerned. I have (air) travel bags for a 9' longboard but once I am home I only need day bags, so I didn't want to make the investment for two to three times what I got this bag for.First off, this is my favorite board bag. I've never had or heard of the Curve brand before. I'm impressed because of its design simplicity. Maybe because this may not be an air traveling bag where you may fit 2-4 boards into it, the zipper design is solely at the tail. Sliding my board in and out is simple and because the bag itself cushions well and is padded at both the nose and the tail, I love this feature too. Something nice but not necessary is the the tail strap inside the bag, so it helps with excessive movement. And, it has a nice solid velcro opening for fin. The board bag strap was so strong at the clasp that it was easy to transport at a busy Thanksgiving weekend airport experience. It's also a removable strap, and has its own pocket.Needless to say my board was unharmed with this bag, once home.I'm so happy with the slim appearance, simplicity and durability so far, and I'm going to get this for my other longboards. Previous reviewers have boasted over the zipper's noncorrosive nature over the years, and this is a big one for me because I do live next to the ocean and has had name brand bags' zippers corrode within months. Only time will tell. But know if you are surfing a lot or live near the ocean, we know this is normal. Just an added bonus, if you really needed to, I strongly believe a 9'3" longboard could fit in here. Good LUCK.

Good, does the job (:
IT has kept my 9'0 board intact. I bought the 9'2 just to have a little bit of extra room. It's pretty much like any other longboard surfbag, except for much less $It has the fin exit, the zippers work good even with wax on them. It hasn't deteriorated in the sun and the pads at both ends may not be SUPER padded but they do the job. Of course, I wouldn't recommend anyone to just drop their boards on the stairs, but it's great for protecting the board when you're bumping the tail or nose everywhere to get it out of your storage.....Board bag > No board bag.I've had it for 4 years now (give or take); holding up pretty well.Go for it

Good bag
This review is for the 9.5' wide bag. Nice bag. Looks like good quality. Fin side is reflective, so should do good on top of the car in direct sunlight. On the pictures is how it fits a 3 fin 9 foot Stewart "Redline 11" , 24.5" wide, 3" thick. There is about 5“ on length left in the bag, which is expected. About 2.5“ left on sides. The tail end is held in by a velcro strap, so the board is not going to move around. I was able to zip up the bag without removing the fins. Main fin is 6" long, and sticks out through a velcro opening. Overall good bag, reasonable fit. I can probably make it fit better by sawing up a bit more padding wherever it's loose.

Nice bag for the money with a decent amount of protection. Built for wider boards so if you have a 8' gun this board bag would be to bulky,

Stood up to a high impact test on the freeway!
I've had my bag for 1.5 years. Yesterday my roof rack detached from my car as I was going 70 mph and my surfboard, still attached to the rack, took quite a hit, landing on the freeway. meh. Was able to retrieve it safely, but expected my fiberglass board to be in pieces. I'm sure part of it was luck in how it landed, and it had protection from the roof rack, but my surfboard sustained minimal damage! Two small dings -- one on the rail, the other on the corner tail, both of which can be easily repaired. It did sustain some pressure cracks, and my fin is destroyed. but if it weren't for the extra padding at the tail i'm sure my board would've sustained far worse damage. The bag did it's job! It wore down to the foam layers and the zipper slider broke off during the accident (but the bag stayed fully zipped!). I'm super thankful for the protection!I'm about to order a replacement bag now.(as for that roof rack though...)
