UPETTOOLS Fish Tank Filters， Aquarium Sponge Internal fluidized Bed Filter for 5-75 Gal Fish Tanks

I haven't had this filter long, however I have nothing but positive things to say thus far. It replaced a sub-par sponge filter in a 20-gallon long and I could not be happier with the swap. The sponge did adequate biological filtering, however the mechanical was non-existent, and water movement was lackluster. Problems resolved. Generally, my preferred method of filtering is with box filters, and you could jokingly say this is a box filter on steroids, or maybe a box/sponge filter hybrid. It is surprisingly well constructed, moves water gently but effectively, and does a good job of both biological and mechanical filtering. The customizability is also a nice feature, though so far I've been running it stock and it has performed wonderfully. It is quiet, though you can certainly hear the moving media if you listen for it. Packaging was safe and professional. Overall this item is recommended and I'd definitely purchase it again.

Purchase best for my 40 gallon turtle tank connected it to a air pump that goes to 60 gallons and it does not filter where well the water does not flow continually as described in the product description. I will be returning this product.

Filter nano tank with just air pump. Yes plz. I would not recommend for anything over 10 gallons, it just doesn't have the space but if u have a 10 or less this will free up an electrical socket and reduce electric bill.

Got 2 of these, one for a 20g long and the other for a 29g. First, they are LOUD, much louder than other sponge filters I've used. Secondly, they're really tall even at their shortest setting. I had to move a lot of my substrate out of the way in the 20g. It says rated for anything up to 20g (as a standalone. Per the description here these aren't good for tanks much bigger unless you have another filter) but I'd really have a hard time keeping these in a 10g or smaller.

I didn't expect much due to the price that, but I was pleasantly surprised. The side sections are perfect for adding media/polysilicon for water polishing in bigger tanks and perfect for 10 gallon shrimp tank. It isn't the prettiest thing out there but if you're looking for a budget filter this one can't be beat.
