Easy-Off Professional Oven & Grill Cleaner, 48 oz (2 Cans x 24 oz)

I used this product for cleaning my stove top even though it says oven and grill cleaner. I live in a rented house where the stove is super dirty i.e black in several parts. I scrubbed it with several dishwashing liquids like Dawn, Palmolive, even Tide, Comet etc. but nothing worked. I was recommended Easy Off. I decided to give this product a try.I sprayed this generously over the tough stain and let it sit overnight. I wiped the stain using regular scrub dipped in water. While it did not completely remove the stain, it made a huge difference. The stove was whiter. So just covered my nose/mouth with towel. I have an open kitchen plan, so no option to close the door. I used it for my Breville mini oven that I love and use for everything. I had to try to clean it properly as it switched off every time it heat up. I thought it was because it was so dirty inside, so I decided to clean it with this product. The fumes are very strong and made me cough, but I did it in the garage. I sprayed the inside and waited for a day. After that, I thought that all the grease and burnt will be easy to remove, but it was not the case. I spent hours to scratch the inside to remove just most of it. After some hours, it was cleaner, but not perfect. The good thing is that my oven works again. Bottom line: it is just a decent product. You still need to scratch a lot to remove everything you want to remove.

What can I say about Easy-Off oven cleaner that hasn't been said for decades.This works well for those of us who have old fashioned ovens with no clean cycle...I did a 'cold' cleaning-spraying the oven well in the evening and cleaning it the following day. I actually went 2 days before I cleaned the oven out..I sprayed it 2 nights in a row. It cleaned up easily and the smell isn't tillable-though you will need to have a door or at least a window open while you do it.And wear gloves as the cleaner is strong.

This is the best product out there to get rid of hard stubborn grease. You just have to leave it on for few minutes and then wipe it. Even the thicket stains of grease come off. Very easy to use.
