I purchased this to seal the door that leads in from the garage to my dining area. A terribly cold draft was causing the downstairs of my house to be cold even with the heat turned up. I purchased this and had someone install it. I felt the difference immediately and the house warmed up. I thought I was going to have to replace the door but this strip saved me hundreds of dollars.

I used this for the side door on my house. I installed it in about a minute. Fits very well ino the door frame and no danger of it falling out. It completely seals the door as I no longer have any drafts. My only issue is with how translucent the material is. It looks like I don't have any kind of seal even though I do. I wish the material blocked out light. Functionality it's easily a 5 star product...aesthetically 3 star. If this was an interior door of if that door had a storm door I probally wouldn't have noticed.

Worth ordering a replacement that fits into the pre-cut slot in my door jamb. So much better than adapting the adhesive-backed alternatives. And will be easy to renew as needed.

The stripping was easy to install and no additional modifications were needed.

The door seal went into the groove without too much trouble. Alignment is very important. It has just been installed and I cannot make a valid judgement call because there is no time-usage data to draw from. Check with me after 6 months and I should be able to give you a factual, time tested evaluation. 10.19.2022.

The weatherstripping isn’t thick enough. I still see daylight around the door looking to the outside. The whole idea of weatherstripping around the door, especially this “Q” weatherstripping, is to seal the outside air from entering to the inside of the house. This product does “NOT” do that. The weatherstripping I removed did that but a dog had chewed the bottom of one side, so I needed to replace it. I’m getting far more hot air coming in with the new stuff than I did with the old. I am very disappointed. Now I’ll have to find a UPS drop off point to return this crap, after I purchase another brand and get it installed. Not happy!

This is easy to cut and install. The only con I found was due to it being rolled up, which caused wrinkles in the material covering the foam. The problem is you can see daylight coming through the wrinkles in the material, I'm hoping that the wrinkles come out over time, and before winter. If not I will have to get a replacement somewhere else.

So easy to use, took maybe five minutes to rip out the old stripping and install. All you need is a pair of scissors to cut to size. Gives a good seal in a door that has a large gap. Highly recommend, great product.
