I use these for smoothing wood in tight areas.

There's a good selection of files in this pack that are better than other budget ones I've had in the past. As a guitar repair enthusiast, I wanted something I could use to level off and clean the ens of a few rogue frets. These were more than up to the task. The grips are comfortable in the hand with now sharp moulding lines and the files themselves are rough enough to do the job.

I'd recommend this set more for a hobby file set. Probably would be better for plastic and wood as opposed to the metal they mentioned in the description. Would be fine for light metal work. Maybe aluminum. You get what you pay for and I just needed it for a few little projects around the house

It didn't work for what I bought them for. They are not too sharp and wouldn't really do much.
