It's damaged
I bought the black caliper. In the photo attached, you can see the black caliper on the right and an older caliper I have on the left. The one on the left can align the arrows correctly. The one on the right cannot, because the arrows are in the wrong position. It locks itself before it can reach alignment, which means that this caliper is useless and I will have to buy a new one.
