It works-takes time and perserverance.
The product seems to be helping me-I lost my sense of smell & taste May 2024. I purchased the MOXE and began using 11/29/2024-I can smell the oils very well-I have begun to taste (intermittently) and smell sometimes-even though I can smell the essential oils clearly-I cannot smell my perfume (it still smells odd), and my shower gel still smells "generic". I can smell my husbands cologne-may be the oils used in each product. I will say initially I really could not smell the oils-so I KNOW they work-I perform the smell practice daily with each kit and sometimes more than 1-2x a day.I cannot smell food cooking-but can taste somewhat. Since I am only on week 8 and have also begun taking Vitamin D, Zinc, and Vitamin A. I am also going to see a ENT to rule out polyp however I do not believe this is the case.My PCP is in agreement with this practice and likely a virus that caused. I am hopeful that after the 12-16 weeks as recommended, (OR by May 2025). I will be back to normal. Thank you.

Moxie Helps Restore Sense of Smell
Does Moxie Aroma Therapy actually work to restore some sense of smell? Clearly other reviews are mixed, some users found partial improvement, some full benefit and others none.Fortunately, the friend I gave the kit to experienced some restored ability to smell the Moxie Aromas supplied in the kit.My friend was not post-Covid but lost the loss of smell post-pneumonia. Almost 1 year passed prior to using Moxie aromas. Each user's experience is clearly individualized. Also, physician input may be beneficial as well as a newer form of injection offered by some doctors. In summary, Aroma therapy is worth trying and may prove at least partially beneficial in restoring some ability to smell and perhaps taste again.

Take it for what it's worth
Since this product is for olfactory retraining, it is funny to ask for a review of it. Take this for what it is worth, as my sense of smell is partial.I initially was retraining with a different brand of scents that my ENT doctor gave me. It said to replace it after 2 months, so I bought these. The phase 1 kit has the same 4 essential oils/scents as the other brand, but I can tell you that the scent of this product is not as strong as the other brand's. I would also say that it seems like the tube with the scent in it has a smell of its own, which is not helpful.I prefer the other brand (NeilMed), but I like that there are 4 new scents in this kit. I was getting bored.

This kit really works!!
After loss of smell and taste due to advanced years(Almost 90) and dentures I tried this kit as a last resort. I received it one week ago and using the easy to follow instructions tried it out. Within two days my sense of smell has started to return and I can taste foods again. I recommend this product highly.

Hopeful this will work
I think this will take some time, but I'm hopeful. My otolaryngologist recommend it. I had no idea something like this existed and that it could be used to "rewire" my brain to improve my sense of smell. I don't know how strong the kits' smells are, of course, so not sure how much I'm supposed to notice, but I do think I'm a bit better. This has made me more aware of what other smells are in my environment and I now am trying to notice them. I still can't smell coffee (or even the dogs' farts!) so there are some pluses along with the minuses.

Not working at all
So I started this sixty-six days ago. I wanted to give it some time before writing a review. The inhalers smell the same today as they did on day one for me. With Covid loss of smell, everyone is experiencing different smelling symptoms and these scents will be different for everyone so I won't go into detail of my experience with each individual scent. I wanted to merely give my feedback and review on this kit to help others. My sister in law lost her smell from Covid as well and ordered this a few weeks before I did and this kit is not working for her either. I purchased both kits in order to really make an effort. I will come back with an update. UPDATE: I have successfully completed 12 weeks with the first kit, not missing a day and keeping a strict journal and am now on week 2 of the second kit. When I looked back in the journal from when I began this, the scents haven't improved for me...they are rated the same numbers as week 1 and my smell and/or taste has not changed at all. If anything, all that happens when smelling the inhalers daily for so long is that I got used to the four scents, but again, no improvement on taste or smell and these inhalers never smelled to me like what I should be smelling or what I remembered lemon, rose, etc to smell like. In addition, I'd like to add that kit 2 is an optional purchase, but purchased it thinking it will really improve my smell. After successfully completing the entire first kit for 12 weeks, wouldn't you think that my smell/taste should have improved just a LITTLE more? Well, no, because the grapefruit and cinnamon in kit 2 have absolutely no scent to me at all. Very discouraging. UPDATE: It's now 7 weeks into kit 2 and after talking to my cousin who ironically is a guy (most are women with taste and smell loss) who lost his taste and smell back in Oct 2019 from Covid, he had been doing the smelling of essential oils also and nothing changed for him. This has been a bit of a hassle, the kit is always beside my bathroom sink with a notebook and pen marking my results and after doing this religiously twice a day for months, I have finally decided to toss it in the trash. My final result is that my taste and smell haven't improved at all. I have maybe 5% taste and smell from getting Covid 18 months ago and what I do smell or taste isn't what I remembered. This is the exact situation I was in prior to starting this product. I will officially say this kit was a waste of money, at least for me. (By the way, Dr. Bryan Ardis online will mention nicotine and I've done that with the nicotine gum and that doesn't work. The burnt sugar/orange didn't work either.) Instead of focusing more on the olfactory nerve being damaged from Covid as the internet states, I am big into the Medical Medium and have been reading his Brain Saver book. In there he discuses long term Covid symptoms and I believe it may have something to do with the Epstein Barr virus that is perhaps preventing my taste and smell from being blocked. My focus is now on taking his approach. If I find a cure, I will be sure to update this review :-) I hope this helps.
