This is a good sturdy lamp. I bought one in black for my son-in-law's man cave and was so impressed that I bought a white one for my living room. I would heartily agree with another customer who recommended that it be assembled from the top down. I did the black one from the bottom and the white one from the top. No comparison. It was so much easier and took about a quarter of the time to assemble it from the top down.

I am elated with this lamp with reading lamp!!! I have been buying Mainstays lamp and reading lamp since the 1990s. I only use the reading lamp for my two birds. Each bird has their own lamp. The last five or six Mainstays lamps have not lasted a year. The reading lamp falls aparts even with electrical tape. The Globe lamp has a weighted bottom which makes my life simpler. The pieces screw together far easier. If available, I will be buying this lamp from now on. It was worth the extra money. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this lamp.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Lightbulbs not included so dont forget to order them. But overall is a great lamp.

Very nice inexpensive lamp. The pieces all screw together seamlessly, so you cant tell its like 7 pieces once its all together. I used Smart Matter bulbs in it and integrated it into my whole house lighting network and control it all with Alexa.
