after several(5-6) tries I was finally able to get my medium length hair wrapped tight. Some of the wraps did loosen up as I was putting bands on, not to big a deal. Wasn't to bad to sleep with it on and i woke with nice waves that just needed a touch up with a curler. However I did find for my length ( just past shoulders ) that a robe tie worked better. I would only recommend this product if you have longer hair.

If you curl your hair at all, even just once a month, you absolutely NEED this. Don’t spend your money on a fancy $50 heatless roller, this one works perfectly fine. I’m not a magician at all with hair but this is so easy to use and literally takes just 3 mins to put in. The directions say leave it in for 3-6 hours, but I’ve once taken it out after just 2 and still got volume and very decent waves. This hair tool is so stress free and effective, it should be a necessity for everyone.

Love it! A lot of hot curlers don't keep the curl in my hair and I tried other non-heat methods, but none of them worked or were comfortable. It took a few tires, but i found the style and tightness that works for my hair and now the curls last for at least 2 days. It's not the most comfortable to sleep in, but it's easy to ignore, and the rod does move around, but i use a bonnet to keep it in place and it works great.
