Lots of power in a small package, but hard to configure
Edit: Downgraded to 3 stars. You can't get into the boot process and load your own linux or Andriod, unless you load their whole development SDK. You cannot boot from or load from a SD card. You will want to update this board ASAP, as the Android version is very old and full of security holes.First of all, unless you are an advanced user, just keep walking and get something else. This uses the Rockchip CPU and boots into an Android phone instance. Networking (wireless, ethernet, BT) and USB all work on boot. But, unless you re-flash the SBC, you will always have an old version of Android.I had visions of loading Ubuntu, Debian or maybe Pi OS onto this. You need s/w tools, a lot of knowledge, patience and a little luck.If you want an Android version of a media center, this SBC will work, but it will be a little wonky without a touch screen. Using a keyboard and mouse is very jumpy.

Do not buy/. No support
No documentation. Nothing online. no response from company. Cant boot from sd for linux. Bootloader wont boot. Android version it ships with doesn't even have a terminal window to execute commands. Dead dead dead product. Save your time. but a Pi

It works but it's kind of useless running android 7 with poor support for linux
I followed their instructions to compile linux and nothing at all works. I also hate that the sdcard slot is right under the HDMI port, which presents a problem mounted to my 7" touchscreen and it severely bent an sdcard and broke it. I now use it to play spotify and that's it.
