Not a snug fit
1 5/8 pipe does not fit snug in this fitting which means that it will wobble if not secured. Disappointed and will look for something else next time.

Loose connection, not snug
The connection has so much play, will not work for any kind of vertical pipe extension as there is about a 1/8 inch gap around the pipe
