I used it differently than most people. I have degenerative disk disease and this helped me get through a 4 day portaging trip in a giant forest. The long support was perfect for keeping good posture when wearing a heavy backpack.It was worn for most of the day and stayed comfortable.

How can I rate pain relief, support and comfort with four stars but give an overall rating of one star? This is my 2nd belt from this company. The first one lasted almost two years before the side bands stopped holding because of worn-out Velcro. Not bad for an inexpensive back brace and worthy of 4-5 stars. The 2nd one I purchased on June 27th of 2022 and one of the side bands is already not holding, which makes it useless. So, the quality has dropped from lasting almost two years to lasting just over a month.I realize companies are trying to keep products at manageable prices. However, companies are doing themselves a disservice by keeping products at the same price but lowering the quality in order to do so. I'd pay more for the same quality. Instead, this company has lost a customer who was very satisfied with the original.It's important to note that I have to wear a back brace basically 24/7. For those of you who may only wear this product when doing certain jobs, it may work fine for you because when the belt works correctly, it is very affective.
