I'm really stoked Shimano started supporting the 9 speed platform with the sora category. I've got about 700 miles on mine so far with no problems. For the price this is excellent.

Maintenance required
Have this crankset on a Diamondback. One year after purchase left crank came off while riding, stripped threads. Fine print says to check tightness of cranks every 60 miles! So this is on me.Am 62, have been riding bikes since young, have a 40 year old Centurion still riding. Not in my 50+ years of riding have I ever checked, or even thought about checking the crank set as if it would come off while riding.My bad.Check this crank every 60 miles, or it will cost you. Just saying.
