Pratt MJ-4 Self-Seal Stay Flat Mailer, White, 9.75" x 12 1/4" (Pack of 100)

These mailers are sturdy and they seal well. We have used these for several years. I recommend them.

Can’t be mad, but definitely not happy. When these arrived we were surprised at how flimsy they were but decided to give them a shot.In Short- If whatever your putting in there can be bent a fair amount these mailers will do the job.The Long Version- We used them to mail Art Prints and unfortunately over half of our customers received damaged prints (irreversible creases from being bent, damaged edges & water damage). YOU HAVE TO assume that your package is going to be thrown around while being shipped and potentially exposed to bad weather during final delivery. With this in mind anything that can’t afford to be bent, has fragile corners or is sensitive to moisture is a risk to ship in these with out added protection.TIPS- We didn’t want to simply throw them away so with a little effort we created a system where all prints arrived undamaged-These mailers are flimsy and will only get worse if exposed to high humidity so keep them nice and try-We took any cardboard boxes that would normally be thrown out and cut out rectangles that were slightly larger than the print-Place the print on the center of the cardboard and secure it in place by wrapping it one time with “Cling Wrap”-place into mailer and sealDoIng this provides the sturdiness needed to prevent any bending, protects the delicate edges and makes it highly water resistant.Hope this helps anyone that may be considering the purchase as these are well priced for what they are.

To put it simply --LOVE:+ Sturdiness!+ The Self- Seal+ Material it's made out of (Waterproof?)Perfect for 8.5x11 size prints & 8x10.... you could get the smaller envelope for 8x10, but if you're not mailing a ton you could just get these for both size papers!CONS:+ The increase in pricing, but I understand, plus it's heavy to ship too(It used to be cheaper on amazon - but still an incredible price for the quality product)I have tried the brown kraft envelopes because I like the look of those, but I am mailing professional prints for my shop and was extremely worried when shipping those out in the kraft envelopes because they would bend easy PLUS the rain would make the brown envelopes soggy.I use "Please do not bend" stickers on any flat mailer I send out. I love that you can peel the self-seal tab off, really speeds up the process and is not like others where I may have to lay a book on it to ensure it stays sticky. I can trust this brand and will continue buying these! Wish they came in cool patterns or something, but I'm sure that would be pricey to do.

Needed to mail vintage photos and documents without extra protection. 8x10 documents in clear plastic sleeves fit in without crush and would allow for multiple items inside as well. Seals tightly and protects very well. Will definitely buy again. Price is best for the quality.

I was having problems mailing paperback books using Tyvek envelopes. Even with "do not bend" stickers. After reading some reviews here, I decided to try these mailers. They were perfect! They easily hold 1 or 2 8x11 books without damaging the books. I've shipped over 1,000 books using these envelopes. I think these would work well for photos or books. I have reordered several times as they work really well.

These mailers are great for sending thin books, catalogs, or magazines. They are rigid enough to protect the product inside, and the adhesive is easy to use and adheres very nicely! It also has an "easy open" rip-cord for the customer to open the mailer. I used a bubble-wrap type of envelope previously, but had several customers complain of damaged books/items; I have not had any customers complain of damaged goods since I switched to these rigid mailers!

Using this for ground mail since UPS doesn’t provide envelopes. Adhesion is good and cardboard is stiff and much thicker than the standard ups envelopes

These are a big step up from the first set of "rigid" mailers I bought. They are very thick and sturdy. Unfortunately, they also bump the weight up over 8 oz on my typical items, so that also increases shipping costs. That's not a fault of the product, but something you should consider before buying these.
