I recently had white quartz countertops installed in my kitchen and this silicone pad is perfect for the area beside my sink that typically gets a lot of wear and tear. The pad does not slip around and washes easily.

If I could give this ZERO stars I would! Do not buy this product if you are solely purchasing it because the manufacturer states it is HEAT RESISTANT.Manuf. states "...Can withstand temperatures from -40 to 446°F" this is literally B.S.I made the mistake of purchasing this product twice. The first one melted to my stove top and I thought it was done while we had visitor and the accidentally turned on a heating element and did not realize it was on. The second mat I purchased I also purchased on Amazon "Safety 1st Stove Knob Covers, 5 Count" and placed those on my stove knobs to eliminate this problem in the future (these covers come highly recommended).To my surprise I recently removed the mat and used my stove top. When I was done I wiped off the surface of the stove and waited for it to cool. I later placed my hand on the stove element that I had used earlier and left my hand there for several seconds, there was very, very little heat left from usage so I place this mat on the stove. Well imagine my surprise when I tried to uncover the stove the next day and had to TEAR this crappy mat off the stove and then proceed to SCRAPE the sections that stuck to the stove top off - probably scratching and damaging the top in the end (and for the second time).DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU ARE PLACING IT ANYWHERE THAT WILL HAVE THE SLIGHTEST AMOUNT OF HEAT, IT WILL MELT AND STICK AND RUIN YOUR APPLIANCE.

1. It came folded, and the creases remained. 2. One side is sticky, and the whole thing is highly static. Every dog hair and piece of lint immediately collected on it within minutes. 3. Doesn't wipe off easily. This was intended to save cleanup work, not add to it.This might've been a nice mat if it were shipped rolled up and if it weren't so full of static. I STILL cannot wipe it clean! Boo.

I needed something to protect my antique dining table from heat. From the description and reviews, it looked like this would be perfect. It's far from perfect. I started out laying the silicone mat on my table so the crease, from it being folded for shipping, would relax and come out. It didn't. I waited 3 days, the crease was still there, so I picked up the mat and it had sucked some of the color and shine from my table. Using a wood moisturizer and conditioner hasn't helped..

Horrible product and false advertisement. I specifically ordered this because the seller said it will be shipped rolled. Not only it came folded, it also has many damages, dents, stretched out in many areas, and it's dirty with brown smudges, and reeks of chemicals odor.
