Needed to replace my aging (top name brand) boat shoe with something less expensive for the summer. Found this shoe at a discounted price and thought: “Why not?”. Glad I did. It fits well enough and the price was impossible to beat. It’s comfortable for a leisurely Sunday as long as you wear a pair of those micro-mini golf socks. And for the nostalgic in me, it reminds me of those kids’ Keds I wore in the 1960s. What’s not to like?

I was excited to finally find a pair of slip-on shoes in a wide width! These are a lot cheaper than Vans, and I don't have to custom order them like I do Vans.The reason I returned them is due to the rubber sole molding already being split right out of the box. I've attached some photos to this review. The placement to the split is pretty much the point of where my foot flexes/bends. I could only see this split getting worse over time.Lugz needs to move this sole seam to the back of the shoe(like Vans does), to alleviate this issue.

These shoes are great and slide right on. Comfortable for every day wear and the price is nice. My only gripe is cleaning them. Due to the material, it's much harder to scrub out a stain or dirt once it hits the fabric of the shoe. In one instance I felt like I made it worse in an attempt to scrub it out. The only thing that seemed to restore them (somewhat) was a wash in the washer and an air dry. Even then, some stains you won't get out entirely. Do what you will with that information, but overall I'd recommend the shoe. Attached a photo to show what it looked like after a wash as well.

Been a Vans guy for years, but they have always ran a bit tight - so was stoked to see they offered these in wide widths. Size 13 wide fit me like a glove! Comfortable and stylish, so can't go wrong. You can wear them sockless with shorts, or style them with a nice pair of jeans for that night out.

There is absolutely zero support wearing this show. You will need insoles. Cannot be worn for any length of time without them.

Easy to get on and off good value for the price runs large by a whole size

I only gave these shoes four stars because they don't wear well. The soles wear out way too fast compared to my other similar shoes, but I still buy them because they are comfortable and above all they are very lite.

These shoes are cheap in price and cheap in quality. They only lasted 1 month before the insole disintegrated and the shoes themselves only lasted 3 months before they had some serious hole and I had to throw them out. Don't waste you money.

Shoes were delivered on August 30th and didn't actively start wearing them as my daily shoes until the second week September. It is October 21st today, approximately 8 weeks after purchase (only 6 weeks after beginning to wear them) and one of the shoes has started to fall apart on the bottom.To be clear, I am not hard on my shoes, I do not wear them all day. I work from home, and only wear them to walk the dogs, and run errands. They should not have degraded to this level this quickly. There is no way to contact the sellers since I am past the return window. Feeling really disappointed with the purchase and now have these shoes which have fallen apart worse then the pair I replaced these with (which were nearly 2 years old).

These look good and fit great, but they're a bit pricey. I usually just wear these around the house and don't expect much support and performance from them so the shoes are great for that. I used to buy similar shoes at Payless ShoeSource and they were about the same quality but quite a bit cheaper in price.

The most important detail is the connection between the upper and the rubber edge at the spot where the shoe creases during the back-step. This part gives way and cracks and delaminates on most flat-sole sneakers. These ones last longer than most - including their popular competitor that they are clearly (copying) emulating. I want to buy from the other guys, but all of their sneakers I have over the years split long before they are otherwise done.

The shoes felt very solid/durable at time of receiving them, however, after 4 months of everyday (indoor) wear they separated at the bottom sole seam...but the tread wear is still very good so it's not due to excessive wear & tear. It's a decorative seam where the ball of your foot bends & based on this result ... shouldn't be there. If the outer rubber sole was one solid piece then I am certain these shoes would last a lot longer. They are very comparable as (Vans) replica.The top canvas is still in great condition. It's unfortunate. If it weren't for this separation, they would get 5 stars. But, when wearing them like this the foot is exposed to the ground.
