Great item the Rolls Royce in Power.....
Great item, nice bright display - I haven't used it much yet but I did run the Ninja Foodi steam cooker on it and it handled well. It's expensive but sometimes in life you just have to pay the price if you want quality. I haven't tried the app yet but it's good that you can control it from the app.

Excellent quality
Although this was not as heavy as I expected it is nevertheless still heavy (it needs to be because of the battery). but having handles at both ends does make moving this quite easy - perhaps it ought to have been provided with the integral suitcase-style wheels as are fitted to their larger model.Excellent, robust construction and easy to use. Works very well both as an uninterruptible power supply and as a portable backup power source for both 240v and USB powered appliances.Instructions were clear and easy to follow but one thing to watch out for that puzzled me that isn't in the manual is that the "long press" to turn off the unit does not work while it is charging.A very well designed and built product that I highly recommend.

Nice piece of kit
A nice product! Now backing up my home against power cuts.I have a domestic fridge & freezer plus a commercial fridge and freezer, 2 lighting circuits, central heating and heat store controls all powered using the Ecomax as a UPS. With power to spare and a reasonable back up time, extendable by adding an extra battery.Easy to set up but the App could be better. The on line documentation for the App does not cover all its features. The on line manual accessed via the App has all the odd pages missing!I would like it to give a record of power usage. It does not appear to give any system alerts such as AC power off or power restored!A lot more I would like to know but early days as I have only just got it operational. There are 2 useful Fb groups.Enjoy!

Off Grid Support
These devices are great for off grid living. If you have a 5 kw generator like us then the Eco Flow Delta will suck up 2Kw of stored energy in an hour and a half and will use 0.3 of a litres of red diesel. That works out at 24pence a Kw. You then have that power to use anywhere anytime. With the current electricity prices it is way cheaper than mains. The Eco Flow can also run high use items like hair dryers and electric ovens. The downside is they cost around 2k to buy and are only good for about 800 charges. I have done some calculations which means in the life time of the Eco Flow you would get 1.6 Mw of power which is £1.25 per Kw plus the red diesel to charge it so the real cost is £1.49 per Kw. Mains electricity will cost around 90 pence per Kw in January. So in summary if you need off grid living on a boat, in a RV or out camping they are really useful and with moderate use only recharging once a week the Eco Flow will last 15 years before the Lithium starts to degrade.

Effective Portable Power Station but expensive
This is a very expensive but high quality piece of equipment. Fairly easy to understand and use but you do need to read the instructions and get to know your new Delta Max before you start to play. 🙂The battery capacity is 1600 watt hours which is plenty to run a TV amplifier, satellite box or hi-fi for a few hours providing us with very useful emergency backup should there be any power cuts this winter. There is also a larger 2000 watt hour model and you can also attach two extra battery packs to treble the storage capacity. ☺️ That would be a major investment probably a good idea for those lucky people who live off grid.We have Solar PV panels on the rooftop so we can charge our Delta Max with free solar electricity off mains when the sun shines. Otherwise we charge up whilst on economy seven overnight. This battery will help us cope with the high energy costs and gets the most value out of the solar PV panels. The unit can also be charged from a vehicle via a 12 volt DC socket or by using a portable PV panel though extra cables would be needed if you want to use this route. I'm not convinced I would want to take this to a camp site. Whilst it would be nice to have the power available this is a large and heavy piece of equipment and quite frankly we carry a lot of stuff for our camping trips without taking this beast of a battery along for the ride. The whole point of camping is to make do without your creature comforts isn't it? My wife disagrees 🤣 one of these would be ideal for use with a RV, running the vehicle electrics whilst parked up in storage or on a camp site.Updating the Delta Max firmware is way too stressful. 😞 At one point the unit went completely dead and unresponsive. I thought I had screwed up but it was all part of the update process. Getting the firmware to current specification took a very long time! Maybe 45 minutes? but once you have finished hopefully further updates won't be so problematic. 🙏 These portable power stations are very heavy! There are handles attached to the body of the battery but even so you don't want to carry one of these babies far. If you do don't be surprised if you give yourself a hernia!😭I like the controls on the unit, how you can switch off the USB outlets or the four AC sockets at the rear. It will drain down the charge by leaving the unit in standby mode so we switch the battery off when not in use. There is a great app which allows you to communicate remotely with your Delta Max using your phone. From the app you can set the charge rate from between 200 watts per hour all the way to 1600 watts which would fill the battery in just one hour! You can preset the minimum and maximum charge, see the current state of the battery etc. Setting up the app was quite straight forward. I wasn't looking forward to it at all but shouldn't have worried it really is easy to do. 😜Should you buy one? Well they are a very nice piece of kit to have in your home. Think carefully about what capacity you actually need as there are a good number of options available if you also consider the Delta 2 models and the new Delta Pro with its 3.6 kWh capacity. Emergency backup power is worth a great deal though I doubt we will ever get thier money back in electricity savings given the high initial purchase cost. I suspect lithium battery technology will have moved on well before we could break even with our Max. We will be keeping him for a long time so we shall take care of our Max with low charge rates and avoiding fully charging him for no good reason. Overall we are glad we took the plunge but it isn't a decision to make lightly. If you go for it I think on balance you will be pleased especially when the lights go out.

Excellent product and Customer Service
This is a great product and is used at home and in the Moho, could be better at charging via the 12v whilst driving but I think that's standard with most of these power banks.

No worry about power cuts
I bought a similar one late in 2022 It was absolutely great during 2023 but found I could have saved more power from the sun. I have therefore bought another one plus the solar panels ready for this year and to ensure should there be a power cut the freezer would be well covered.
