This fit and worked perfectly. No need to replace the whole switch and saved lots of time and money!

I have a 2015 535i which requires the short prongs vs long pronged switch. The part fits and looks just like the original. The only apparent difference is the (P) markings on the new switch are slightly wider/bolder than the marking on the original switch but that's nit picking. I'm satisfied and recommend it. It illuminates well too.

X AUTOHAUX Car Trim Console Control Electronic Parking Brake Switch Button Cover P Button fit perfectly for my 2016 M5. The installation was easy but FYI make sure you install it flat. If you install it in the upper position, it will not activate the parking breaks.

If you are like me and the brake button broke, this is a great replacement. Piping the old button off was a little challenge and should be done with a non-marring tool such as a trim tool, etc, stay away from metal. All be aware that there are two options one with legs and one without, depending on the model year. It looks great and works as expected, if I hadn’t been able to replace just the button I would have had to replace the whole assembly, that would have cost $$$$.
