I used this litter with petkit puraXI have 3 adult cat and one kitten (3 months)- litter last only for 10 days. (one bag)- Stick on the pad, even when the cylinder start to rotate for cleaning cycle it’s staying there, i have to bring something to scoop it.- Have weird smell even when I empty the waste bin the smell not gone and if anyone enter the living room can smell it.

Petkit is a good product afterall

I rarely review things on Amazon but I am so impressed with this product I had to tell you guys about it. I tried out this litter because the long haired cat I was fostering was getting the clay litter we had been using stuck in her fur/in between her toes. Not only did this solve that problem, but it also tracks SIGNIFICANTLY less! I have an igloo shaped litter box and large litter mat, and even with both of those, I was having to sweep up litter multiple times a day and finding bits of litter all over the house. When I switched to this, that completely stopped! There is some very minimal tracking right outside the litter box, but it all stays contained in the litter mat, and no more finding litter outside of the bathroom or on her paws!! It absorbs well, clumps well, does all the things I need litter to do! I will never go back to regular clay litter!I was torn between giving this 4 or 5 stars, because it's a 5 star *for me* but the reason I gave it 4 stars is -1. This does not contain odors that well. With the clay litter I'd been using, I would clean the litter box once a day at 11PM and never noticed an odor. With this, around 5PM I started to notice a slight odor, that wasn't unbearable, but definitely was there. The litter itself also smells like play dough, in my opinion.2. Cost. You get SO LITTLE of this. I know it's a "premium" product, but still!3. Dust. I've seen enough cat litter reviews to know dust is a big thing that people care about, and this litter was hella dusty. I'm not super sure how it stacks up to other litters, but with the two kinds of clay litter I have used I have never noticed a dust cloud and with this one I definitely did.4. Scoopability - it does take more time to scoop than fine grain litters, since the pieces are longer.

I received about 2 weeks ago & I'm using in the Petkit Pura-X self-cleaning litter box. I was using a clay litter which my cats were tracking all over the house so I bought this with the hope that is doesn't get tracked around as much. After 1 week the results are ery promising. The granuals are much bigger then clay but seem lighter. They smell awesome when you open the new bag, almost like candy. So far in first week I haven't found any of these around the house or in the cats favorite spots like I always did with the little clay pebbles. The final test will be to see how they contain the odor and if my cats are comfortable with change ad I'm sure these feel much different on their paws then the clay did. I'll try to remember to update my review when it's time to empty the holding bin of the Pura-x.

Finally, after decades of searching, I've found a litter that does not stick to my cat's fur, and does not get tracked more than 5 inches from the box! If you are not happy with the odor control, try an additive. But I don't think it needs one.

I have tried a lot of flushable litter. With four cats the smell can sometimes get bad with others brands I found. Not with this one! I would recommend when you flush to put it in the toilet and let it sit. So it has time to break up, I then usually have to flush twice. Bam and done!

Not sure what I was doing not using this before but the litter has no smell and it’s not all over my carpet like some of the crystal litters. Our cat seems to like it also.
