These heating pads were amazing. I use them for myself not my cats although they would probably like them too. One is in perfect condition and heats well and stays hot for long. One has dents in the back, doesnt heat as nicely or stay hot for as long.

The cats and I love these! During winter, I leave my heat around 50 degrees F to save money, and I wanted to get these in case the cats wanted to curl up against something warm. At first, the disks did not seem to hold heat. I'd place somewhere and hope the cats would use, but the disks felt cold hours later. But then I started using them at night under my covers close to or under my feet. They were super cozy and warm! I leave my socks on and used the disk without the cover. In the morning, the disks were still warm! I've found the trick is having something warm on the disks helps the disks to keep their heat and stay warm for many hours. (I sleep 8-10 hours/night.) Since then, the cats have also laid upon the disks and the disks have retained heat to still feel warm. I don't often use the cover that came with the heat disks, although I place the heat disk under their cat bed pad or under a blanket, and the cats sleep on top of the disks that way.

I've got an outside cat that refuses to get along with the cats I have in the house. I bought him a small shed to sleep in when the weather is rainy or cold. When the weather gets close to freezing, I put a bunch of fuzzy blankets in the back of the shed with a couple of these warmers. When I go out in the morning, he still nice and warm. I usually take them out about 11 p.m. and check on him about 7 in the morning. He's still toasty. These are the best invention ever. No electricity required. They're extremely hard but if you put them under some soft blankets and make a nest they work out perfectly.

Purchased these for feral cats that live on the property. They, 3 of them ~ trapped, spay, neuter, have been visiting for over 3 years and refuse to come indoors. So, purchased these to provide warmth in the make-shift cardboard shelters that I provided. I am absolutely ecstatic that they are using the pad. Purchased four but am currently only using two for the cats placing one in each shelter. And, recently started using one of the disks as a way to provide heat for myself as my car heater stopped working. I place it either in my lap or behind my back. It works perfectly!! The instructions imply that the disks stay hot/warm for at least 10 hours. Not sure about that, but the heat does last for a good number of hours. So happy with this purchase and highly recommend these for anyone thinking about a simple way to provide warmth for outdoor feral cats.

I liked the portability of this. Takes a while to heat up but stays pretty warm for hours. We moved and flew our 17 yr old cat from a cold climate to FL. The floor on the airplane is cold. This was a perfect solution
