During some remodeling, somehow the clamp that holds the water discharge hose from our 39 yr old washing machine into our beveled cement tubs came up missing. Finding those old style hose clamps were common back in the day, but now impossible to find. We tried another metal clamp, but the lip on our cement tubs prevented it from attaching securely enough and there was no way to adjust it. As soon as the force of the water from the washer started coming out, so did the hose….flying out of the tub, clamp and all. . So, we bought this. It works like a charm once it’s adjusted . No bucking out of the tubs when the washer starts emptying. It stays put and no more water on the floor.
