Mind Management, Not Time Management: Productivity When Creativity Matters

Too much for me
I read previous reviews, and thought okay, I'll give it a go. But struggled with this. I am not the most organized person and dislike structure. I felt this book's aim, or marketing spiel, is to give you tips you help you structure your creativity and productivity in an easy-to-do way. Basically there is no easy way. You need to militarily plan you life in order to succeed as someone who is not organized. And it helps if you have a book deal or cash in the bank to make that easier.

Interesting points but
Really interesting points and helpful schemata, as far as those are concerned. But more and more i felt, like someone is telling me, what worked for him and should work for everybody, without being aware of the difference in privilege in people and situations.

Waste of money
The author is under a time crunch to write this book so he travels to Colombia to do it (unrealistic for normal people to get up and go) and compares Medellin to his life in Chicago whilst sprinkling it with quotes and illustrations. I am forcing myself to read the rest only because I spent so much money on it, hoping there will be some kind of advice in the 2nd half of the story (yes its more of an entertaining story than a self-help book)

A lot of thoughts and quotes of others
It's like a committee of hamsters looking up stuff on the internet and writing a self-published book. Oh and a lot of stuff about himself. I wanted to like this book but it was just plain annoying.

Bad quality of print
The quality of paper and the print is bad. Can't read more than few pages at one go. Very thin font and thin paper. Try for Kindle edition.
