Polar Pro Filters PolarPro UV Filter for DJI Mavic Pro/Mavic Platinum, Clear

The unit I received was poorly manufactured, I could see the adhesive between the glass and plastic frame.

Ordered after Jan's update, but possibly still received an "old batch" item. It is pressed on securely but scratches the side of the gimbal when initializing. I will be returning for a new one with hopefully does not interfere with start-up.

Good fit and it comes off with only a little effort. It stays on snug. Gimbal isn’t obstructed with this on.

Simple UV filter, but the best feature is its light weight. I install it and just leave it on. It doesn't interfere with the startup calibration of the camera gimbal.

Worked ok

Worked at first for 2 days but now the gimble locks up. Just a little too thick.

I pushed this filter on to my camera using a lot more force than I am comfortable with. It jams the gimbal while trying to initialize. I needed a screw driver to pry it back off.

I've had the problem of condensation inside the lens of my Mavic Pro; seems to be a common problem and it manifests itself especially in winter time with cold air temperatures, Tried storing the drone in airtight case with silica but didn't solve it; I think the air in Scotland is just so damned wet all the time as soon as you take the drone out it's going to happen again. I had ND filters and tried them to discover that they solved it but of course didn't want to always fly with a dark filter on the front so hence this one fits the bill, Bit expensive compared to ND kits etc but this was the only solution I could find that was from a reputable manufacturer and the drone was unusable the way things were so it's solved a big issue for me.

Fits good, not lose and no problem with calibration. Leave it on all the time now and have taken a few really good sunsets so far. I am no pro but the results did appear to be good on my first attempt as attached. I understand that all the other filters covering the various f-stops are for video but only and you only need this lense for photos. I will purchase these when I get into video. Please also note that if like me you are tempted to buy the cheaper lenses, I wouldn’t risk it as I received some that had fallen apart before even attempting to fit them. They seem dear for such a small item but I guess you cannot cheap scrape on such items.
