As mentioned this has an adjustable taper, the lever can position the moving blades outside the confines of the fixed blade and you can cut skin upon contact. Very powerful, seems reliable. Cord sufficient length as long as you operate near the outlet.

Great clippers, that don't bog down as some rechargeable clippers do. Sturdy qnd comfortable.

This works great and is powerful! I tried another brand when my last Wahl clipper broke (to save money) and that brand did not compare. I ended up buying the Wahl a second time. I do caution against taking it apart to clean. If you do, the blades have to be lined up exactly or it does not work.

I've now cut my own hair 4 times. Been getting easier and easier with this set of clippers. They are very rugged with cut very well. The included different sized guards are awesome for any guy cut. I've noticed no uncomfortable heat from the clippers even after some of my extended uses while struggling through my first few cuts. The sound they emit is nothing unexpected if your used to the loud snap when you turn them on and then a somewhat soothing and mildly loud vibration.After using these on myself when no prior experience, I highly recommend them. I think these will last forever and will probably only have to replace a broken or lost guard. My one complaint is that the guards are rather sharp and you end up poking yourself a lot with them. Sadly I do not have a perfectly spherical head, so this is somewhat bothersome. That's the only bad thing and these mighty fine clippers still warrant 5 stars. Buy these with confidence and start saving some cash by cutting your own hair!!

I never knew how complicated making a decision on something as simple as a hair buzzer would be. I made the very difficult choice to completely buzz all my hair of, except maybe an 1/8”... I wanted a buzzer that would be reliable, have an adjustable setting and not be too harsh on the wallet. After reading the reviews for various brands and models, all of greatly varying prices, I realized there were many aspects to look for: weight, vibration, noise, longevity, heat, length variations, cordless, etc etc etc. I was about to tear my hair out before I even made a purchase!After weeks and perhaps even months of sifting through buzzers online, I just decided on this one. I don’t know what exactly compelled me to purchase these clippers, but I am very happy with the choice I made. Although I cannot attest to the longevity (an edit will be made to this post if they die on me), they seem to be of sturdy USA made quality, whisper quiet, doesn’t heat up after 15minutes of use, and doesn’t leave any unsightly rogue hairs.. not to mention it has a clipper setting adjustment that won’t easily reset itself in the middle of your buzz, leaving you with an unexpected surprise when you look in the mirror! BUZZ ON!

Mine Came with the blades not sharp at all... they pull the hair a lot and doesnt feel at all smooth. I bought it because a friend had one and had the opportunity to use it and it felt amazing... mine has the bladed in terrible and almost ...old ... condition... They look even kinds rusty in the edges.. very confused and dissapointed by this... You can clearly see it at plain sight in the photo.. MINE IS THE ONE ON THE RIGHT... the one on the left is the one my friend has had for a few years and you can see how the metal even looks new...how is it possible that mine is new and it looks older than his....The metal in the one my friend has looks smooth high quality and mine just looks In a bad shape...like I had it for a decade... come on...As soon as I openned the box and saw the blades I knew something was wrong... someone will answer for this...
