Frank & Co: Conversations with Frank Zappa, 1977–1993

Interesting for FZ fans
It doesn't read like a mystery, simply day in the life, of a young foreign journalist, who met with and interviewed FZ repeatedly.

One of the best books on Frank Zappa published in a long time.
There's a great coffee table book called 'The Hot Rats' book, which i feel goes really well with this book, however there is simply no comparison. This book reveals what Frank was like when he had people who not only understood his music but loved it.Co was also able to promote it in Europe and was one of the first people to put his music on radio in the Netherlands. What you get is a superb lot of actual long interviews which is rare and if you read the questions some interviewers ask Frank, you can understand why a lot of his interviews were short and to the point. I mean actually asking someone if they ate a turd on stage(for the record as published in 'The REAL Frank Zappa' book written by Frank, it's s stupid lie and NO HE NEVER, EVER DID THAT.)I've gotten a nice little pile of albums I wasn't even aware that Frank was on and Co reveals some very interesting bootlegs(not that I promote those of course.)If your a die hard Frank Zappa fan or even someone who wanted to understand a bit more about the great composer, this book will not disappoint.Oh and for those umming and arrring out there, check out You Tube and do a search for this book, there's a great video of Co chatting with Steve Vai who was also blown away with this terrific book.Grab it, read it, enjoy it and discover how you will never want to part with it.
