Nice watch but…
This watch gave me paranoia because of its sleep tracking. It made me complain to my doctor that I was only sleeping 5 hours a day and because of that, it gave me real sleeping issues. Eventually decided to take it off before going to bed and the issue resolved itself. In terms of step tracking, it’s accurate and tracks my steps just like my iPhone does. I rarely use the heart rhythm and the BP measures but I guess they too are accurate. One thing I noticed after using the watch for one year is that it’s become less sensitive to wrist movement and I have to press it for the screen to light up. Other than that, the battery life is amazing even after one year of usage. I actually like this watch.

I give my feedback in two parts: about [a] the Aswee smartwatch itself and [b] the phone app to use with it.First though I will quickly share with you why I opted to get this watch. A few days before I bought it, I came across and watched it highly scientific video by a leading blood pressure doctor who recommend using a smart watch to monitor BP. The video opened my eyes to how potentially serious my own BP issue is (mine is typically in 155/98 range. [Note I use the exact same battery BP tester with arm cuff for years at home that my doctor uses at the surgery, so this is accurate]). That best science data states that BP should be not higher than 120/80. So, I was horrified to learn that my BP was in the ‘Hypertension stage 2’ bracket; therefore, beyond that was at serious risk of heart attack, stroke and other BP-related illness. So, I decided to follow the expert advice and get a smartwatch. Now to the smartwatch.THE SMARTWATCHI did my research on Amazon and elsewhere and decided on this one, mainly, because of preponderance of positive reviews was high and price cheap, comparing to some of the other ones. When it arrived, I immediately checked my blood press and heart rate. I saw my BP was 117/73. I thought good (at first!).Then I noticed a big discrepancy. Every day I checked my blood pressure on my battery BP tester and the smart watch; and everyday the smartwatch was between 20 to 45 points LOWER than the proper tester. Personally, I am not comfortable with this at all because it means either my old tester or the smart watch is ‘lying’ to me. Unless, of course, there is legitimate difference between checking BP on the arm vs. on the wrist. (I have not researched this point yet.)But in terms of the watch, it itself; it is a quality device measuring many ‘health’ risk. It gets a 9/10 from me (that is virtually a 5*), but if its lying to me then I could end up seriously ill (stroke/heart attack) ‘IF’ I think my BP is ‘normal’ (120/80) when in reality it is much worse (160/103).THE PHONE APP (strongly recommend you read the Terms & Conditions before agreeing these terms)So, wind back to the day I got the watch. I downloaded the app, installed it as instructed. Then it asked for permission to access ALL MY PERSONAL INFO on my phone! So, I read their Terms and Conditions. Can you believe this? In order to ‘unlock’ the full functionality of the smartwatch (such as setting the date and time) you have give the app developers person to access YOUR: CONTACTS, CAMERA, EMAILS, TEXTS and LOCATION.Stay with me with this. I want you to understand what is going on?! You buy the watch from Amazon. The watch is made by company in China. The app is developed by another company in China, and here is the best bit, your data is stored on the servers of ‘another’ company – a tech giant – in China that you did not have any direct contact or contract with. So, you have allow access to all your personal information just so you can see a few fancy graphs of distinctive features of your ‘health’ information!Further, if you read their Terms and Conditions, there is certain arrogance in their tone and their total disregard for your privacy – that I interpreted this this way: ‘Give us access to your data or get lost!” I chose to ‘Get Lost! And immediately uninstalled that app off my phone. (Remember the old adage: “There is no such thing as free lunch!”)And while I can just about accept given them access to my location, can anyone tell me why on earth would they need access to my camera, emails, texts, contacts, and presumably other files too! I have been a customer of Amazon for over a decade now. In all this time, Amazon, Microsoft, GoDaddy and other tech giants I have accounts with have NEVER asked for accessing all my personal data or camera!SUMMARYSo, I am left with a lovely smartwatch that I no longer use because I already know to within 5-10 points max it will tell me my BP is around 110/70, whatever time the day I take it. A watch that I cannot use to even tell the time of day, let alone technical health data, because they have set things up so that in order do so, I (or you) have to let unseen, unknown forces the other side of world access all our data.MY RATING5* for the watch (buy if you want it. It is a good watch)-5* for phone app (because of their total disregard for user privacy)My rating on Amazon 2* (because the watch is of virtually no use to me)So, unless there is smart watch out there that [a] properly regulates BP and [b] does not use a third-party app to invade privacy, then I think I will stick with my battery-operated BP monitor for now and alter my diet to get my BP down!!!

Good whilst it lasted
My daughter was so pleased with this watch, bit in less than a year, lines began to appear across the screen.

Good value for money
Sleep is not accurately monitored.

Only lasted 4 months
The media could not be loaded. Great watch but the screen just died one day and now shows nothing. Only lasted about 4 months. Was very careful with it.

Stopped pairing within less than 24 hrs
Very low price but I would expect at least some functionality for that. Initial setup wasn't too much of a challenge but when I woke up this morning the watch had stopped communicating. After several attempts, removing and reinstalling the app, factory resetting the watch, unfortunately it hasn't connected since. The fault may be more due to the app rather than the watch itself, so may be a cheap alternative if you are just looking for a watch and not to pair with a phone. But then you are getting less functions than you should.Have requested a return and already purchased another for around the same price. Hopefully the basics will at least work this time.

Bargain price
Quite a big face but very easy to see. Lots of different things to monitor. The sleep app is very good and the steps recorder is more accurate than my husbands. Very easy to charge the battery and with general use will last about four days.
