*UPDATE/WARNING* use loctite on the screws since this is a 2 piece paddle. My left paddle wasn’t tightened properly and was close to falling off. Applying loctite and ensuring both screws are tight before installation is necessary or your paddle will loosen over time and you'll have to take it off and apply it anyways.I was looking at shift paddles on other sites in the 180-350 dollar range (the upper end being CF) for my F22 14’ m235i. But I decided aluminum paddles would accent my red start button.Debating between a more expensive alternative that was 180 for a similar red aluminum paddle, I pulled the trigger on this SK Custom one and it fits the bill nicely. Install was easy, disconnect battery remove airbag and these bolt up right in place of the stock paddles with everything you need. It extends the physical shift points up and down from the original paddles, and your fingers fall nicely onto it when your holding the wheel.Don't expect to be able to press the VERY top of the paddle and nothing else to shift. That is to say if you only press the very top edge of the shifter it's difficult to shift. This is because there is a spring that is being depressed in the base of the shift mechanism and there is just not much leverage when pressed in that way. I will say, when turning the wheel I generally have 2-3 fingers on the paddle so its not an issue.

They feel very solid, there's no flex to the paddle like the complaints I read about for other paddles. They're clearly milled & not stamped which increases their cost greatly. The ridge on the back that they highlight does fall perfectly in line with my fingertips while holding the wheel, giving their use a very natural feeling.Installation is SUPER easy! Point of advice though, be very careful when removing the screws because it is VERY easy for them to drop down in to the steering wheel cavity. Definitely use a magnetic screwdriver if you have one. When reattaching the paddles, I made sure to insert the screw all the way into their hole in the steering first, & held it in place with the screwdriver while lining up the paddle for reattachment. This greatly reduces the possibility of dropping the screws into the wheel if you line up the paddle first. Also of note, the slide pin holding the paddle together is made of a pathetically flimsy plastic (shame on you BMW) & it only slides in & out from one side so don't force it.

Right one fits perfect left downshift paddle is loose Because of the poor build quality. However the material is aluminium and it feels 10 times better than the oem paddles

Very nice quality not the top one but does the job and the price is right. Good purchase
