The gospel message spoken in a story and through the eyes of angels and man. It’s so beautiful and so deep. The story builds so well and was very thoughtfully written. It brings you hope for what’s to come and encouragement while on this earth. Highly recommend!

This book will take you on the most wildest adventures of the greatest love story ever written. It will expand and test the limits of your imagination and leave you feeling like you've touch the divine. It starts where no other story has ever started and ends where all other stories are trying so hard to get to. I recommend it to anyone who wants to know the why behind the what as far as anything religion has ever attempted to explain.

I first read this book a couple of years ago. It was strange to me, the way Gene humanizes really unsettled me. I didn't finish it, until now.Over the last year and a half my heart and soul have been awakened to the full knowledge of what God's immeasurable grace truly is. I have come to realize that, specifically in this book, Gene isn't humanizing God, he is speaking from a place of our rightful position as a reflection of our Creator, we were made like HIM, we are the ones who were made IN HIM! We are the likeness of our Great Lover! That understanding made this book come to life in a way that is indescribable. God wants us, He pursues us, He passionately cares for us, in spite of our not even realizing it! God loves you more than you could ever fathom! He's not mad at you and He wants you to know that He is waiting to hold you once more. You were thought of before the foundation of the world, before creation. You are His most desired treasure!Grad this book! It allows God to be who He truly is, our Perfect Lover!

This was a birthday gift for my daughter. She and I read and re-read our copy when she was a teenager. She recently mentioned to me how much she loved that book and so I decided to see if I could find it. She was so happy to receive The Divine Romance as a gift. It is such a lovely allegory of our relationship with the Lord Jesus.

Love the story and great old book explaining Biblical stories

Quite insight and also deep. A lot of complexities and ask unravelling of hidden mysteries that reveal the deep love purposed and executed in the incarnation of Jesus Chris he was here on earth

This is so well written and much like beautiful poetry. I read this about thirty years ago and fell in love with Jesus even more than before. I highly recommend it.

Enjoyed this book on so many levels. Really demonstrates the love of God for His people. A must read for anybody that longs for a deeper relationship with God.

A challenging and enjoyable read!Would recommend this book to those looking for a fuller and more spiritual understanding of the heart and love of God.

This book has really brought me home to my first love, the true purpose of the New Birth, to be known and loved and to know and love the One that is Love. Such a beautiful story of His deep desire to love us, to prepare us to be His eternal Bride.

Amazing book such revelation and so well written Gene Edwards describes from the Gardenof Eden captured Adam and Eve through to Jesus on the cross

This is an excellent read, I must look up more books by Gene Edwards. I couldn't put this book down our Creator and His bride are portrayed in an amazing way. Just don't know how to explain it...If you love Jesus you must read it you won't be sorry.

What a beautiful book. One is swept along as the story unfolds. When we get to Calvary the reader is stopped in their tracks. One can only lay the book down and worship. I was left speechless at the cross. What a saviour. Thankyou Lord for your greAt love for me.
