Gator Frameworks Guitar Neck Rest Cradle with Desk Clamp (GFW-GTRDSKCLAMP-1000)

This guitar stand is a very well built, sturdy, solid and capable of clamping even to a quite slim surface.The actual "jaw" is a bit big, bigger than necessary I think, but fine in my use.The build is a bit "agricultural" being heavy and resilient, but to me that's a good thing.I'll probably buy at least one more in due course.

I wanted to be able to fix this to a cab rather than a desk so allow me to avoid taking out a full guitar stand.Fortunately the guitar cab has enough wood for me to able to make a good fixing. Although I suspect this wasn't orginally in mind for the product it has enough flexibility in the design to allow for this, so am happy.

Having had 4 ‘pub props’ with them all breaking on me, I opted to buy this one instead. It is much stronger as far as the table clamping system goes than the others and I can not see it breaking, however I find that the space for your guitars neck is way too wide, leaving your guitar loose and open to falling out etc if knocked by say someone walking by. I have adjusted mine by gluing an old ‘pub prop’ neck holding section under the neck cradle as in my picture. It’s the best of both worlds I think, much more stable to hold your guitar, and stronger than the old ‘pub props’ table clamps.Sorry if you haven’t got any old bits to do this yourself, but just thought I’d put this idea and thought out there.

Good strong item. It's a little heavy but works. Could have done with a lock of some kind to keep the guitar from coming out forward if kicked by mistake even a rubber elasticated strip.Overall I'm happy and would recommend.

Very solid, overbuild clamp

Super solid, movable, great clamp on mechanism, room to stash a couple pics on it. I have 3 different desk mount guitar holders within arm's reach and this the BEST of them. It is not the smallest or lightest so if that is your wish look to others. I'll not some might want to have it close on your guitar, this one relies on you leaning it into the U and does not hold it in place. I have others which do. Either works and it is your preference. This one is big and solid. BUY.

DTM用の机で、オーディオインターフェースからシールドが伸びている方向に取り付けて使っています。◇剛性とても頑丈なクランプで、なおかつそこまで大きくスペースを専有しません。三脚式のギタースタンドを使う場合、地面に大きなスペースが必要になるのでこれは大きなアドバンテージになります。またギターを受ける部分の材質も絶妙な硬さがあり、滑り止めとあわせて見た目以上にギターをホールドしてくれます。また吊り下げ式と違ってヘッドが太かったり細かったり、楽器全体の長さに依存するところがとても少ないです。ネック受け部分は広くとられているのでベースもギターもなんでもストレスなくかけることができます。◇取り回し何と言ってもこのサイズで床と組み合わせてギタースタンドになるのが最高です。この商品の核とも言える部分ですね。デメリットを挙げるとすればハーキュレスのような吊り下げ式ではないので、どうしても床にギターを置く時の衝撃はありますが、優しく置いてあげれば十分問題ありません。敷物があれば全く気にならないでしょう。ピックスタンドはピックを失くす人にとっては便利でしょう。自分は机に置いているほうが安心するタイプなので使いません。◇価格もっと多機能な吊り下げ式のものも販売されていますが、こちらはなんといってもリーズナブルなところも売りだと思います。◇総評全体的に満足度が高い商品でした。レコーディング中は波形の処理等で頻繁にギターを置いたり抱えたりしますので、このような取り回しのよいスタンドを一つ机に設置するだけで、非常に効率が上がると思いました。2つほど注意点を挙げるとするならば、同じくクランプ式のドリンクホルダーやヘッドホンホルダーを使っている人は干渉に注意が必要です。そして吊り下げ式でないこともあり、ネックの塗装へのダメージやネック反りの原因となることは留意しておきたいですね。ですがスポンジではないので特に問題ないと思います。

Super heavy duty and better than another similar product I tried

5 stars for what it is. This thing is rugged and well made. When tracking guitar, I sometimes want to rest the guitar against my desk, and this is perfect for that. Can easily attach and remove it as needed. Once I set this up, I immediately realized I needed a patch cable with a ninety degree bend so the guitar could rest on the floor without stressing the cable. Thought the price was a little high but fair. Since purchasing, the price has almost doubled though. I wouldn't pay the current price for such a basic utilitarian thing as this.
