Pig Takes a Bath (Hello Genius)

I bought for my toddler because she would go through phases where she doesn't want to take a bath. The pictures are clear for a toddler to understand what's going on. The dialogue is short (one sentence per page) and I usually add relevant details like the pig uses soap to wash himself. This book along with 'Time for a Bath' helped make bath time more fun. My toddler still doesn't like soap/shampoo but we'll work on that. ;)

This story is a good addition to your collection for the beginning reader. "Little Pig" is repeated on every page layout to help the reader become familiar with the words. The illustrations are vibrant, yet simple. You witness the entire process of the pig getting dirty and then getting clean. At the end of the story, little pig is back in the mud. My son thinks it is so funny that the pig gets himself dirty right after his bath. Story is short and sweet.

I bought this book for my nephew in France. He loves it and says "caca" now.I love the illustrations and purchased 2 more books from this collection.It is so much fun even for an adult.

My friend's 2 year old loves this book. It was a personal reason to get it. I know there is a whole series of these books
