Well-Suited for Paintball, and very durable (see edits)
Edit 11/28/22: Yet another update. Gloves are still going strong and will hit the two year mark this coming January. All seams and stitching are good. The edge is starting to curl up a bit on the end of one of the wrist straps, but still fits securely. These gloves have survived many Saturdays of paintball, including two tournaments, and the left one took another hard back of the hand hit just this past weekend. A fellow frequent player tried mine on for size and asked where he could get a pair. I'm still extremely pleased with them. Just wish they'd offer more colors.Edit 02/14/22: These gloves saved my hand last weekend. I ran up on an opponent and forced a surrender, coming over the top of his bunker. He was startled and reflexively squeezed the trigger, shooting me in the back of my left hand from about 2-3" away. The paintball struck me between my little and ring fingers right at the base. It stung and went numb for a few seconds, and I had redness and soreness there the rest of the day, but avoided bruising and had no broken skin. Without gloves, I would have suffered a painful injury. The raised, padded ridge along the back of these gloves absorbed most of the impact. I can promise I will not be caught on the field without them.Edit 11/17/21: After nearly a year of playing paintball in them on a monthly basis, I can report that these gloves have held up very well. After each day of play, they get tossed in a small mesh bag and machine washed with the rest of my clothing, after which they hang dry. Seams and endges are all good. No visible scuffing or fading. And they've even gotten easier to take off as I have broken them in more. I'm extremely pleased with them. The guys who pay more than twice as much for paintball-branded gloves are getting ripped off.Original review below:Got these to replace my trusty old neoprene gloves that I'd been playing paintball in for ages. I wanted half-finger gloves both for dexterity and better fit. I have slightly long fingers relative to the width of my hands, so it is difficult to find full-fingered gloves that fit properly in the palm without the fingers being a bit uncomfortably short. With half-finger gloves, I can size them correctly to my palm width and not worry about jamming my fingertips. I was looking for gloves that would offer good knuckle and back-of-hand protection without too much bulk, and these filled the role wonderfully.I played a full day of paintball in these (8 or 9 games over about 7 hours), including crawling on the ground and taking some hits to the hands. The gloves did their job with no obvious signs of wear (other than the brightly colored paint splatter, which will wash off). I felt the impacts to my hands but they did not really hurt and left no bruising. The palms are not overly padded, so I could still feel the contours of my gun's grip. The protective padding on the top/out side of the gloves is sewn in (or molded in), so the outer surface has a contoured but smooth feel (sort of like suede). For my purposes that is preferable to the knobbly rubber that so many other gloves have, which creates all these little crevices that are hard to clean. I rather prefer the understated look of these gloves compared to all the "tacticool" ones out there with big brand logos and chunky rubber or plastic knuckle guards. I'm not punching concrete walls or breaking windows in these gloves and I have no desire to pretend like I'm going to.What I most like about these:Again, the simple and understated look. Too many tactical/shooting gloves look like boot treads. There's a hook and loop adjustment flap across the back so you can adjust the snugness of the palm to your liking, which also makes removal a little easier. The wrist closure is a smooth nylon strap (like a seatbelt) that passes through a flattened ring/bar and doubles back on itself, so you can cinch it down tight. What I least like:These aren't the easiest to take off. They'd be perfect if they just included little straps or loops at the finger holes to help pull them off, as some more expensive gloves do. I tend to take my gloves off between games, but I started leaving these on because they were a bit fiddly to get off.I can't speak to the long-term durability. They've held up to one day of heavy use (including direct impacts) so far. Hopefully they'll hold up for many more.Photo credit: Southern Alabama Paintball

Great Gloves
I like half fingered gloves for shooting. The pair Iv'e had for 15 years finally fell apart. So I thought I would give these a try. Iv'e ordered other xx-large gloves in the past and they are still small. These are actually kind of big on me. Finally a glove that fits me comfortably. Guys with big thick hands - these will fit you if you order xx-large. I'm going to order a x-large pair to fit me better for shooting and keep the xx-large as a backup. These gloves are very comfortable, easy to take off and well made. They should last a very long time if only used for shooting. If using them for yard work and other heavy duty projects they should still last a couple of years. I did not buy them for that. I have big hands (not thick palms and fingers) just big hands. The xx-large is for really big thick hands, finally a glove for men that is sized correctly. Buy a pair you will be happy with them.

functional but with some issues
They fit well, and keep my hands from getting cold or drying out. My palms don't get too sweaty because of the vented palm area. I like having my fingertips uncovered. These things are good. What's not so good:First, one of the plastic pieces that the glove was made from had a sharp corner that poked into my hand when I got it. I had to stick a pair of scissors into the glove and cut off the offending corner, and I was afraid that I might cut a hole in the glove. It went well, and both gloves are much more comfortable now.Second, they're stiff. It's not a huge problem, especially if you're doing sports or shooting, but when I wear them I'm a little bit reluctant to bend my fingers just because I know that it'll take more force than usual.Third, the hardware can dig into your wrist a little bit if you rest your hand on something, like a computer desk. I imagine that most people won't do this very much, since they're more of sporting gloves.Overall, I think these are good gloves that are best for active people.

Highly recommended! Nice for small hands too!
Bought one in 2017 and wore this at least once a week til yesterday for ww kayaking. It was tattered and torn after 5+ years of usage so I got a new pair. No other glove, inc nrs, harbinger, have lasted this long. it's so durable. Looks like quality, sizing is same perfection as before. I ordered two other brands but their size small was big for my hands.

Well constructed glove
I use these gloves for motorcycle riding. They are comfortable and fit well. It has been hot on the East coast this summer so my hands tend to sweat and the gloves get wet. Time will tell how well they hold up. I have had cheaper gloves fall apart. These are nicer than the fingerless gloves found in the big box stores. Years ago I had a pair of black Wells Lamont fingerless gloves. These were the best gloves I had. Cant buy them anymore as they only have the yellow ones and they are not the same. If I can ask for one thing it would be to have the little cutout pocket at the top of the fingers. This made it real easy to take the gloves on and off, especially when wet. The Wells Lamont had these are they were great.Overall these are really nice gloves. Hope they hold up.

Great riding glove.
Seibertron Men's Black S.o.l.a.g. Special Ops 1/2 Finger Light Assault Gloves Tactical Fingerless Half Finger Gloves XXL I would have really loved these if they came in a xxxl but not many in the category even come in xxl so when I saw these, and for the price I took a chance. To my surprise they actually fit and feel pretty good. Easy to put on with some difficulty removing but again I could have used a xxxlarge so I expected some tightness. I have been wearing them for a couple weeks now as my motorcycle riding gloves and extremely pleased with how they feel. These are very comfortable and feel great on the bike. My controls are not at all hampered. They have great flexibility and seem to be very breathable. My hands are not sweaty or discolored when I remove which is usually the case with other fingerless riding gloves. I'll keep checking and if they show up a xxxlarge I'll definitely buy another pair.

These are everything I was hoping the previous pair I had bought would have been.
Full disclosure: I picked these up after buying another branded pair which, when I got them, really didn't add up to much, very insubstantial material-wise. Rather than take the hit I returned them and, for the 6 quid difference, went for a pair of these and I'm very pleased I did. These are great gloves, comfortable - durable - I don't know how well they'd hold up as motorbike gloves, but for cycling, paint-balling, martial arts stuff they should do fine. The wrist strap gives good support and the extra tag on the back of the hand means you can adjust the width fitting so they fit just-so.Very nice design, they feel good wearing them. Definitely go for the next size up: whatever size the chart says, add the next size to it.The only concern I found when purchasing - when you select XXL you get a warning that third party sellers may require additional costs: I'm a UK resident, I honestly don't know how this is supposed to work or for that matter what these additional costs may or may not have been, the literature isn't helpful at all it doesn't' tell you what those costs may be - you're left with no clue and it kind of makes you anxious that perhaps you're going to get some outrageous import tax added at some point...It doesn't seem to happen on regular sizes but be aware, if you're a UK buyer and you go XXL this may be a thing. It also takes longer for the goods to arrive, they've obviously got to be shipped from somewhere - not sure where. As it turned out there wasn't any additional charges - you'll just have to read the literature that comes up and try and make heads or tails of it. It's definitely something to look out for when purchasing, I've never knowingly run into that before. It gives you pause.Other than that though really happy with the purchase, these are everything I was hoping the previous pair I had bought would have been.

Very nice, slightly smaller than size guide.
The item itself is very nice, well made, strong construction, soft and subtle fabric. However unfortunately it doesn't meet the size guide provided, found it ran samll by about 1 cm or so, enough to be uncomfortable and rub when at higher end of suggested sizes, if not for this would have given 5 stars.

Good quality gloves, comfortable and well made.
The sizes for these gloves are a little misleading, I have large hands, so ordered the large size - which fits my wife's small hands. So, I ordered the XXL version of these gloves, and they fit perfectly. So, word of warning when ordering this product. The gloves themselves are good quality materials, with two release straps. One on the wrist, and one over the top of the hand. You will most likely need to use both of these velcro straps when putting on and taking off these gloves. Especially when taking them off. While this might seem rather redundant, the two straps do serve a purpose and allow you to adjust the fit of the gloves while they're worn so there is no slipping or twisting when indulging in activities. The velcro is the newer fine tooth type, so less likely to gather fluff and fray like the old large tooth velcro does.Manufacturing is good, no ragged edges or loose threads, tight and neat stitching and the glove, once sized correctly, fits the hand and fingers very well. They're supple enough to allow full range of movement, but tough enough to withstand some pretty excessive activities. The pads over the knuckles and fingers adds a reasonable level of protection against knocks and are soft enough that they don't interfere with movement or feel restrictive.Overall I'm extremely pleased with these gloves, once I figured out that the sizing is off. Money well spent, and these make an excellent replacement for my aging cycling gloves.
