Use it gardening and light rockhounding. Like that it is light. Easy to carry around all day and clears loose or soft material well. Wouldn’t use on rock…I did have to add a wedge after several uses and I added material to the bottom of the handle to grip securely. The head is holding up and the price was good.

When I received the package from the Amazon, I was skeptical. I expected a Garden Pick Mattock Hoe, to have more wight than what this one did. But then this seems to be the trend of all "hand tools" anymore. Now I understand why one of the service people stole my Garden Pick Mattock, out of my garage! The tools are obviously cheesy! The handle is so skinny I'll be lucky to use the tool with my gloves on! If you're really interested in my feedback, check back with me to see how long the cheesy Mattock Hoe potion lasts before it breaks! Where's the quality tools we used to be able to purchase??

Seems solid, just smaller than the picture let's on. Overall I'm sure it will be a good item.

GREAT FOR SMALL EXCAVATION WHERE A LARGER PICK IS TO UNRULY TO USE IN TIGHT QUARTERS.

I have bought 3 of these small garden mattocks. The first one was perfect and amazing. So I ordered 2 more. Both of the wooden handles were manufactured too narrowly so that the mattock head was too large to sit securely on the wooden handle. Basically useless. I have already notified the seller with no response. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR TIME. CHEAP STUFF. They don't even care to respond for unusable items. My advice is to buy somewhere else.
