What is in this stuff? I just put this on my sauna floor thinking it was tung oil because it f ing says tung oil on it. But now i have no f ing idea

Any container that says Tung oil "finish" is NOT pure tongue oil, but a varnish. the only real question, then, is whether there's a bit of tung oil added to keep it softer than a pure varnish. Any mention of clean up with mineral spirits is a dead giveaway that it's a varnish.

It's not an oil. I thought it was but it isn't. It's nasty! Very thick and sticky, it's more like a varnish. If you are looking for a traditional rub in oil. This isn't it. As far as I'm concerned it ruined my table.

Is this pure tung oil

This is a oil based product and works very well on unfinished wood. It penetrates and brings out the grain and color nicely. For interior wood and furniture. Hand rub it and apply some bees wax for a soft natural look.
