Enjoyed it
Frederica has accepted a dare to kiss her guardian, Percy, something that she's been longing to do. Percy is disturbed by his attraction to Freddie, who was placed into his keeping upon his friend's death. She's the one woman he shouldn't touch.I loved this book. It was one of my favourites in the series. I loved the relationship between Freddie and Percy, particularly the way she caused him so much trouble and drove him crazy. It was quite amusing watching him try to resist her. This book was a lot of fun, and it also had the usual steam and drama. It was really enjoyable.

An entertaining read
This was an entertaining read.. I couldn’t help but like Freddie, she was such an engaging character, full of spirit and adventurous. She was definitely determined to see if Percy, Marquess of Wolverton felt the same way about her, as she was falling in love with him. Percy, who had a reputation as a rake was a little slow to recognise the signs as to his feelings. There is a mystery that will be told in future books and also a lead in to the next book. I received a copy via Booksprout and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Perfect blend of sweet and steam
Absolutely loved this story between Percy and Frederica or sprite as he calls her. F is another member of the club and as usual accepts a dare to kiss the marquess but really already has feelings for him. The book moved quite quickly with Percy giving in quite easily.. As usual there was the misunderstanding but fortunately it does not drag on too long. As usual there were the couple of steamy scenes Nas well as the sweet ones.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved it
Loved Miss Frederica Williams and Percy Devereaux Marquess of Wolverton's story.Frederica accepts a dare to kiss the guardian that she is secretly in love with a man who is a known rake who is doing his upmost to keep himself from the temptress living beneath his roof. However Frederica has other ideas and is determined to practice her wiles on him. Theirs is a battle of honour and determination one with the ultimate price of love if they are willing to accept it.

Guardian and Ward
This was another great book in this series. This tale involves a 20 yr old Freddie and a 33 yr old Percy. Percy took over the guardianship of Freddie a couple of years ago when her brother was lost at sea. Percy is known as a libertine, but he has taken very kindly to care of Freddie. When Freddie is dared to kiss him, things start to unfold. It was fun to see the couple’s banter and the easy life they created after living together for years. It was sweet and not weird in the slightest. The author sucks me into her world with all of these stories and characters.

"Prepare to be Delighted"
Loved this book. and I took the above heading from a particular part that struck me as perfect... Frederica. Freddie, as she is affectionately called, ward of the disreputable rake Percy, Marquess of Wolverton, starts with a dare and goes from there.. A wonderful read, and I must admit to staying up into the wee hours to finish. five stars.. Indulge & Be Delighted !! is my usual quote on reading a superb Hist. Romance, but today I borrow the author Alyssa Clarke's words...""Prepare to be Delighted." she said on a throaty purr..." Thank YOU Alyssa.

Lovely
Just the world and the stories that the author ceeates is incredible. The characters come to life with so much emotions, chemistry and daring actions. Loved your series so far.

Solid, with some wrinkles
The May to September romance was handled well again by Clarke. A sudden twist at the end (no spoilers) was jarring and seemed unnecessary, but I'm picking up that is signature Clarke and will learn to expect it in future. Thoroughly enjoying this series of quick reads.

My Fair Lady
Frederica is another member of the Ladies Club at 48 Berkeley Square. She transformed from a wallflower to a confident and strong woman when her guardian finally notices her. I love stories where the male character realizes he in love with "Freddie." This book was sweet and short with a HEA.
