I own a 1985 635csi BMW with 5 3/4" headlights. In 2002 I replaced the Sealed Beams with what is called Capsules from a company in India called AutoPal. For my car I have 2 low beams that hold H4 bulbs and 2 high beams H1's. But I converted the H1's to H4's. Autopal is no longer around but I can still find the same replacement capsule on Eb*y.These AutoPals had the Halogen bulbs and worked great. So wanting to upgrade to LED's. Couldn't find anything that would give a full ouput with out dark spots. Untill I found these 4 sided CPS LED H4's. The capsule has a full 360 reflector inside, so I needed something to mimick the Halogen's. These work great, no dark spots, great coverage and bright.Also since in the past I was using Halogens the amp draw on the old school BMW was very high. Now the LED's hardly show any drop in amps, even on high.Not sure how they will hold up, will see. So far, so good.

I did not install it yet, and not sure If I'll even do. I have tried if it works and from what I can see there is absolutely no difference in LED segment activation between low beam and high beam, just the brightness itself is different. On the pic in the ad it definitely looks like a different illumination pattern though, so I'd say that is false advertising. Then in terms of power usage, at 12V it draws ~150mA (1.8W) on low beam, and ~600mA (7.2W) on high beam. If I put B+ on both the low beam and the high beam terminals, it just remains at the same brightness and current draw as on high beam, absolutely no difference. In low beam it stays cool, in high beam I felt it get warm/hot after a few minutes. But that's still a joke, the low beam operates at a brightness level that one can get from a little battery operated flashlight, which would be adequate for a bicycle, but not for a motorcycle or a car. From that perspective as well, this is false advertising, cause the ad just claims it was 8W/2000lm, and does not mention the completely crippled low beam (so called).

I purchased this set of 9012 LED Headlight Bulbs for my 2014 Cadillac ATS. In the past - for some reason, the last 2 pair of Sylvania headlights that I've installed in the car (70$ a pair) - after so many months, they would blow out. I wanted to switch to LED anyway so I started looking and I found these for great price, 30$ for the pair at time of purchase! Wow. And I figured, If they didn't work, I could always return them. What do I have to lose? Amazon has such a speedy return process, So I'd be fine either way. I've had these installed for almost 2 months now and so far so good! Very easy and quick installation. The quality of light output for both Low and High beam, is out of this world! Looking at the car with regular beams literally looks like high beams. I've been getting a lot of people flashing their lights at me I guess they think I have my highbeams on when I really don't! If you're in the market for a nice pair of LED headlights, I highly recommend you give these a shot! Even at full retail price, please purchase! You won't regret it! I'll continue to replace my lights with this product and save money in the process. They are so much brighter than the stock headlights and look phenomenal. I'll update this review if anything changes. Maybe add a photo if memory serves me correctly!

So far, look ok...Better Pattern than all other LED I tried! Good light output...I have a tint film on my headlights and the output still greater than my other set of LED... Will see for the longevity if they last more than 1 year, I will update my review...
