You need to plug the speakers into the auxiliary jack on the controller box.

The ad only mentions appleiphone and samsung galaxy. will the bluetooth work with any other phone?

Yes it works with all Bluetooth enabled devices.

There is a Front zipper compartment which store has the rechargeable battery which contains an on and off switch. The compartment is a large enough to put any smart device to keep it dry and safe

Missing battery pack. Can I buy one separately??

Be sure and look on the inside of the cooler. There is a zipper and ours was hid in that zipper.
