Revised my awful first review!
I am revising my review and extending my apology to the vendor/mfg/tech support. The product works as advertised and using the correct app, which also works, made the difference. Sadly I assumed this version of the tag involved using the same configuration app as my other tag (same mfg) which was wrong. As a result of working with excellent technical support, I was able to get my tag configured and I can now move ahead with my project. Sometimes a problem with a product can be fixed when a frustrated user takes the time to carefully read the right set of instructions. My thanks to tech support; this one was on me!

Don’t buy, it doesn’t work and cost your money to return
This garbage doesn’t work, it cost me money to return and I have to print the return label, go to UPS store to return it. What a waste of my time and money.

Excellent performance
Worked out of the box, and easy configuration change (by use of recommended app) if needed. Good web site with up to date user guide.

Short range & battery life, and life
Short range (25ft inside). Short battery life. (Few months). After I changed the battery it lasted under a week. After changing after that it's like something broke where it quickly drained batteries in under an hour. Had to throw it in the garbage. My wife's battery lasted slightly longer, but after 2nd battery is almost dead already and only been a week so maybe same thing.
